"Okay, wrong movie, but still relevant. So this is based on the battle of Sokovia and comes with four minifigures. This is almost like a Star Wars battle pack!
Minifigures: Iron Man: Awesome exclusive MK45 version. I don't know why his eyes and arc reactor are now white colour, but I like his dark titanium cheekbones and stern expression. Love the body printing. Would appreciate a different head piece for Stark, though. Ultron Sentries: Amazing! The level of detail is just top-notch! If only they had dark titanium hands and hips, albeit harder to create...? Grey stud-shooters are nice but a bit bulky. Ultron Sentry Officer: The antennae cause him to lose his balance and fall off, and the helmet piece looks odd without the chin part, but the helmet goes well with Ultron Prime's chin piece from The Hulk Buster Smash. I like that all the Ultron robots come with dark translucent blue 1x1 round plates and are exclusive to this set.
Set: Odd speeder. Don't recall it from the movie. Super Jumper function works well but wobbles when not in use. I'm not a fan of breaking up my minifigures to attach them to it, and it looks strange without the figures attached.
Conclusion: This set is all about the minifigures, which do not disappoint. Some improvement on the actual builds of this price range should be done, in my opinion. However, this is still a great set.
"This was one of my favorite Civil War scenes (alongside the airport battle) and I loved Crossbones! Let's take a look at this set called Crossbones' Hazard Heist!
Minifigures: Black Widow: This is the AOU version, which is inaccurate to Civil War. Her stingers are blue lightsaber blades, but the blue glow on her costume should be removed. In this movie scene, Natasha Romanoff was wearing her street clothes, like a leather jacket. Still, it's not a bad thing we get AOU Black Widow in a lower-price set. Crossbones: No! So inaccurate to one of my favorite movie villains! Where is the silver skull helmet? The armor? The gauntlets? Brock Rumlow's human head? This seems based on the comic book version and is sadly inaccurate to the film. His legs are plain and his flamethrower is basic. The only good part is his torso. It seems unlikely, but I want Lego to make a better version of him. Falcon: Love the wings, like the head, like the detailed torso, but the plain legs are an odd finishing. The printed wings are great, but his guns are too huge. Black nozzles like in 2013's Republic Troopers vs. Sith Troopers would work better. Some complain about his hair but I don't mind. Lego couldn't do better due to the stud height on the head.
Crossbones' jeep: Umm. Wasn't this supposed to be a garbage truck? Odd... The exploding feature is fun, but I don't recall the green luggage. It is also hard to fit Crossbones inside while firing his flamethrower as well. I like the mismatched, worn color scheme and the balloon tires.
"Ooh! Another exclusive superhero: the amazing Black Panther! I was impressed with the character when watching Civil War.
Let's see the set! Minifigures: Captain America: Cool! A helmetless Captain America that does not come in the Helicarrier! Whilst cool, and with a nice hairpiece, I do not like his head piece. Instead of the smiling side, I would have preferred a sterner face more typical of Steve Rogers. Winter Soldier: A cheap way to get him without getting Super Hero Airport Battle. However, if you are looking to get the whole character roster, you will end up with two identical Winter Soldiers. Still, he is a crucial character to both scenes. Black Panther: Let's be honest: The main reason, or at least part of it, you are getting this set is for T'Challa/Black Panther, right? With a detailed head and torso, cool headgear, but oddly blank legs, Panther is great in his first Lego appearance, but would have appreciated an actual helmet with T'Challa's head underneath. More balanced printing would be nice as well.
Actual set: Captain America's car: Totally inaccurate to the film. Rogers drives a black Audi in this scene, not a blue Taskforce vehicle! Guess there was some different concept art! The build is average, the only cool part being the upside-down fence at the front. The spring-loaded shooter and missile actually blocks the passenger seat, so you have to remove that if Bucky wants to sit with Cap. The golden headlights look rather out of place, would appreciate a black color version.
Winter Soldier's motorbike: Serves its purpose and is decently accurate. Small, but the dark red fairing is cool.
Panther's jet: Awesome! Love the wing angles and the slight purple. The lime green interior is..... umm... odd, but cool pieces nonetheless. Purple and black blend nicely, but some monochromatic black would be nice as well. The stud shooters are a "side dish", but add compact weaponry. Not a big fan of the lime green engines, though, but on the whole, the standout of the set. Nice to see a set with a new figure not just about the minifigures.
"Wow! Civil War is a great movie! How great are the sets? Let's see what Super Hero Airport Battle has to offer...
Minifigures: Ant-Man - Not a real minifigure, but a detailed and realistic example of what Ant-Man can do! I love the printing on this figure. Scarlet Witch - Finally! Scarlet Witch's hairpiece is accurate to her movie counterpart. Some love it, but I am not a fan of the red skirt included. Is that from the movie? Also, it extends quite low down. Captain America - Meh. Same version as the AOU one, which is inaccurate to Civil War. And when is Lego making a new dark red shield? Winter Soldier - A few things: I do not like the reuse of Chris Pratt's head for him. The angry face works, but I don't recall Bucky smiling such a happy smile in the movie. As this minifigure is included in Black Panther Pursuit, it's not so attractive here. Iron Man - Great minifigure, love the shooting repulsor, but rest of the figure is just decent. War Machine - AWESOME! But... why does he use Cyborg's head? Really, Lego? And I don't like the amount of printing on his mask- it's too much. Apart from that, he's fabulous Agent 13 - Nothing much here. Inaccurate hairpiece, and rest of figure is rather bland.
Set: Luggage cart: Small, not in the movie, launching mechanism works well but is kinda odd. I like the luggage Easter Eggs but too many stickers. Airport Tower: Transparent brown windscreens are fabulous, exploding wall is okay, box explosion is so-so. The box easter eggs are cool but simply add stickers as well. Quinjet: Nooooooooo!!! The Quinjet is way too tiny to be a proper Lego Quinjet! Side by side seating in the cockpit is missing, the stud shooters take up the whole midpart, the transparent sticker on the windscreen is bad, tiny cargo bay... the list goes on and on! Hoping for a better one for Avengers 3: Infinity War... Giant-Man: The saving grace! He's just FANTASTIC! Only a few problems: The pins and holes are exposed on his legs, the hands cant move like normal minifigures, and the back is ugly. Still, pretty cool.
