"First let me say my girls wanted me to buy two Arcades because they loved Mia's new outfit. After they set the piece and found they could really play all of the games they bought another Arcade with their own money. They especially enjoy the basketball and water target game. Building the Arcade wasn't very difficult other than getting those darn stickers on straight. But the play experience is very high. I did have them build a wall behind the Arcade to stop the blue round "water" pieces from flying all over the room and ending up in my vacuum cleaner."
"The Space Ride was fun for my 8 and 9 year old girls to build because it was so different from the traditional LEGO FRIEND pieces. They loved the color combinations, and they were OVER JOYED with the new clothing for Olivia. It wasn't too much of a challenge to build but they did have to very carefully read the directions. When it was put together they were extremely disappointed that it constantly came apart. Everytime they turned the ride the top half came off from the base. My husband, the LEGO Expert, tried to redesign the spinning LEGO to see if he could keep it together but no luck. My trick is always just to glue the LEGOs and that just made it worse. In summary I would buy this LEGO piece just for the new clothing on Olivia. My girls really loved this. Even though the piece didn't work my girls have taken the rockets and put wheels on them...new LEGO cars!!"
"This set like no other has created a level of excitement not seen since Olivia's House was first on display at our local Target Store. After building and playing with the set for 3 weeks the excitement level has not dropped. It is worth every penny. This is a set my 8 and 9 year old girls really play with because their fingers and hands can reach each spot unlike some of the buildings with more than one floor and buildings with small and tight spots with counters and aisles. They love spinning the Ferris Wheel and the high drop. There is a problem with the up and down curve on the roller coaster. The curve is too steep which causes the cars to de-rail. I guess LEGO did not test drive the cars on the track before they marketed the product. To combat this problem my girls only use two cars on the track at a time. They adore the new clothing for the LEGO FRIENDS."
"Easy to put together. Cleverly designed. Great value for the price. My girls ages 8 and 10 prefer this plane over the larger plane because it does not fall apart with use. Plus they can land it on top of the lavender house."
"This is the girl's number one LEGO FRIENDS set. They do not play with the additional pieces just the limo. It is their favorite piece because they can put several LEGO FRIENDS into the limo at one time. This item has a very good design as it does not fall apart with almost constant use. Also they put it together themselves (ages 8 and 10) which always gives them joy. I would recommend this set for all fans of LEGO FRIENDS."
"To date this is the most challenging FRIENDS set to build. I would not recommend this set for any child under 12 unless they have adult assistance. My girls love the new color scheme and enjoy playing with it. However, they only play with the bus and not the additional pieces. As it is difficult to put their FRIENDS inside the bus, they prefer the new limo."
"This plane was a little difficult to build. Geared more toward 11-12 year old kids. When the girls play with it, the cabin door falls off. They finally had to take the door completely off which was a huge disappointment. Also when they lift off the top of the cockpit and main cabin area, the sides often come off. The new seat design is a great look but it won't accommodate FRIENDS with a pony tail. Even with these issues, the girls love playing with it. They enjoy flying it around the room. Plus they like that the plane holds several FRIENDS. No FRIEND is left "home" as the plane takes off."
"Someone put a lot of thought and creativity in the new 2015 line of LEGO Friends released in January. This set runs $4.99 and is worth every cent. There have been two prior rabbit sets for LEGO Friends, however, this one includes two baby rabbits along with a mother rabbit. The tiny baby rabbits will make every girl's heart melt. We bought three sets of this item just because of the tiny rabbits. And there is more....the rabbits' home is a cleverly designed, fun challenge for a 7-year old to build."
"The three bins are exactly as they appear in the picture. They are bright with LEGO FRIENDS colors, sturdy and very durable. The smallest bin has several little removable containers to hold the FRIENDS or special smaller LEGO pieces. We keep our 1x1 round color pieces here along with our favorite hair accessories, carrots, extra hair, flowers, horse bridles and saddles. The little removable containers all sit in a tub which can be lifted out of the bin. We keep our LEGO FRIENDS stickers in this spot under the tub. The medium size bin is the perfect size for keeping LEGO FRIENDS instruction manuals. We own all LEGO FRIENDS sold to-date and this bin is large enough to hold ALL of these manuals. In the largest bin we store ZIPLOC square plastic containers which hold other LEGO pieces we use for building. For example we have plastic containers of fences, tan walls, different color bricks, various flat pieces and other favorite building pieces. Owning this item has made it more enjoyable for my little builders to create as now everything is sorted and in one spot. Plus it makes for an easy clean up after a busy afternoon of playing."
