"These lego classic sets are really becoming a frustration. Lego pictures these great models on the box but you have to go ONLINE to get instructions! As much as these sets cost, they couldn't just maybe print the instructions and include them in the box?! For those of us who buy these as an alternative to screen time, that is defeated wholly and completely by this cheap tactic of making us go online to get our instructions. Until they start including complete instructions with these sets, I'm not buying any more of then. :("
"I absolutely LOVE this set. I've waited 5 years for Lego to make snow/winter themed Friends sets and I'm so excited to finally have this! It's so cute and has a lot of charming details. It's pretty easy to build, and has a ton of stickers (that's the one thing I wish it didn't have - I always prefer printed pieces because stickers peel off over time and look bad). But I love everything else. Even the mini dolls are adorable. But I'd like to comment on Andrea's poor planning for her trip to the Snow Resort Chalet. She only brought one outfit, that is her ski clothes! So she decided to wear that for a dip in the outdoor hot tub, while it's cold and snowy out (big mistake) so now she has pneumonia. I'd recommend building the heartlake hospital next door so you can promptly send her over there for quick treatment! It would be handy to have that hospital nearby anyway in case anyone gets hurt skiing! So much fun in these sets! Thanks Lego for finally bringing us some winter fun with Lego Friends!"
"This is a great build from start to finish. Not too easy and not too challenging. There are plenty of surprises along the way which I love. And my favorite part: NO STICKERS!!! Oh how I wish all Lego sets were sticker free like this! And if these beautiful printed pieces are the reason why this costs a tiny bit more than last year's set then I have to say it's 100% worth it! No complaints whatsoever on this brick bank and it completes my full modular building town very nicely!"
"I got this set almost a week ago, and have now built two of the three variations of it (the Family House and the Mediterranean villa). It's such a colossal set for many reasons, such as: It features a lot of elements that are found only in the more expensive sets typically, that add a much more polished look with incredible detail, and it actually has a little bit of furniture that you build for inside the house (bed, lamp, desk, etc), and the light brick included is beautiful for the living room light, or the fireplace light, and I love the arched ceilings which add a lot of elegance, and the multi-colored roof even makes it look really nice too. The buildings have so much detail that it has taken me a few hours (at least!) to build them - and I have built hundreds of Lego sets so I am not a novice here, by any stretch! This creator set is not complicated at all, but just a nice lengthy build due to the detail. This makes it an exceptional value for the low price, especially considering that it has over 750 pieces too. I am so very happy with it that I might even buy a 2nd one so I can have two of the builds on my table simultaneously since they look so very nice once built! I can't recommend this set enough. It's my absolute favorite of the entire Creator series!"
