"I got this set on sale with the intention of adding the rickshaw to my ninjago city set and giving my daughter the piranha mech. She loves it so definitely a worth while good value set. The rickshaw is probably not the best proportion though, wheels are too big. And like the other reviewers said, the Minifigure face is not great quality. Even my 9 year old spotted it straight away. "What's up with her face mum?" Still good value though."
"Another amazing ninjago set. I wasn't too sure about this one at first as I'm not a fan of boats and ships. But the details on this are fantastic. Fits in great with my other ninjago sets. I do have one big issue with it though and that's how its not play friendly. The only reason I can justify spending so much money on Lego kits (if they are for myself) is that I enjoy the build and visual appeal then my daughter gets to enjoy playing with them. But this set is too fragile and has too many things in the way to make playing enjoyable. The sails are directly where you'd be putting hands and things just keep getting knocked off. That's a really big down side for me and makes it a display piece only which I don't like. Lego should be played with! Not just sitting there collecting dust. Still a beautiful set though and value for money."
"I got this set for my 9 year old daughter thinking she'd build the dragon but she instead built the spider. Even though she hates spiders she really liked how the build turned out. It's now sitting on top of my ghostbusters fire house in the attack pose (along with the green dinosaurs from our last Lego Creator 3 in 1 kits). Not a fan on the third build option, the troll. Not very appealing. But looking forward to building the dragon with the second kit I bought."
"This is a great Lego set. The design is so unique and definitely gives an old school feel. The colours are amazing and I love how crammed full of stuff the store is. Gives a very authentic feel. Highly recommend this set. I had been eyeing it off since it was released and I'm glad I ended up caving in and buying it. Managed to grab the last one from my local Lego store! Only issue with it is that I really do think it's over priced. Would be better value if around $150-$180 instead of $250 Australian dollars."
"This is probably the biggest Lego set I have built before. I usually buy large technic sets for my hubby and smaller themed ones for my daughter. But when I saw this one I had to get it for myself. I'm glad I did because It is stunning! The details are just amazing. I find it hard to imagine how these Lego designers come up with this stuff. Highly recommend this set to anyone whether you like the ninjago theme or not. Anyone can appreciate the architectural beauty of this build no matter what themes you would usually go for. Also glad I found it for 30% off retail!"
"I wasn't personally drawn to this set except for wanting the egghead Minifigure. But my daughter really liked the look of it so I thought I may as well get it while it's available. Plus this and the anniversary party set were the only 2 new batman movie releases that we liked the look of. She had fun building it and I love the eggs that shoot out. We have MANY Lego sets so I like to think I know when I get value for money and in my opinion, this set is way overpriced. Yeah it has 2 great Minifigures but does that mean it should retail for $40 Australian dollars?! No way! Should be priced more around $25-$30. Otherwise a unique set and a great addition to our other batman movie themes sets"
"My daughter liked this set. She loves how the mech suits arms move around and she had fun building it. Came with our first spider man Minifigure as well which looks great ecspecially with the web shooting out. Also got it on sale so was great value for money."
"Normally I only buy trucks and machinery technic sets but thought I'd try this one for a change. Glad I got it because it looks great up on the shelf. Was a fairly straight forward build, nothing too complicated but still satisfying. Great for playing as well as it comes with the extra little sub and helicopter which makes it fun for the kids."
"This is a great build. Not too easy but hard enough to be satisfying. Great colour scheme too. My daughter loves how the doors open up and she had fun building and playing with it. Very classic set."
"This is a great colourful set with good Minifigures. Fun for kids to play with. Only con would be that it's overpriced for what you get. Being a Lego family I always hunt down the best prices and bargains considering how much we buy i need to get it at the best price. I picked this set up cheap and found it great for what I paid for it but wouldn't have been happy paying retail considering the size of it. Otherwise a great addition to our batman themed sets."
