Too Fragile.
" Listen. I know this is a UCS set. It's meant to be a display model. I helped my 7 year old cousin build this, he was nearly reduced to tears after the plates repeatedly fell off.
The models is pretty cool, but if you tap the thing it's going to break. Also, the play feature where the missles etc. pop out doesn't really work, they always just break off.

The Exterior is Great.
" This thing is awesome. I really enjoyed the build, and it looks great. My main grip though is the interior. I understand a technic frame was important for the stability, but more could have been done.
Pros:
MOSTLY Good figs.

Color is off, wings don't go into flight position.
" I didn't actually buy this, I looked at it at my cousins house. Looks sick, but if you look at the actual Upison-Class shuttle, it's extremely inaccurate.

The main two things are the color and wings. I mean, come on LEGO, why couldn't it be black. Second, THE WINGS!!! Okay cool, they fold, but why can't they go into flight position??? So much missed potential!

Great, except for the main feature.
" This set is just great. It was way bigger than expected, it's extremely sturdy, the interior is amazing, and the exterior has a great texture.
Unfortunately, the only thing wrong with the set is the main feature. The Gozanti-Class Cruiser is notorious for carrying TIE-Fighters, then dropping them off into battle. LEGO tried to remake this feature, and regrettably failed. The TIEs go on pretty well, but when it comes the time to launch them, they don't come off easily. 1 or 2 of them usually fall off immediately, but the others stick on, and you really have to shake the thing to get them to fall off. Also, you have to hold the ship at a pretty odd angle to achieve a decent view.
Overall the set is awesome, just a shame the TIEs can't really 'launch'
