"I purchase a few of these summer 2017 sets off of Walmart early. This set is my second favorite Lego Batman Movie set (Notorious Lowrider being the first). Bane exceeds all of my expectations. His coat is awesome, his mask is awesome, the pockets molded onto his pants are awesome, and the Lego built venom pack completes the figure. He is the greatest "bigfig" of all time. Bane's truck is nice and bouncy. I love the orange color and the reference to his teddy bear, oso. Not only does this set come with Bane, but it also comes with the Mutant Leader. The Mutant Leader has a very useful torso and some great prints as well. I like that Lego includes a villain with a little more Batman lore. There is a little venom container that says, "Ace Chemicals" on it. This has a small play feature in which you can shoot out a venom tank. Batman doesn't have a new expression, but he is still a nice inclusion. I appriecte Lego including the whirly-bat (my vehicle of choice in Lego Batman 2) in this set as well.
Overall, great set. I recommend it to any Batman fans, especially fans of bane.
Oh! One more thing. Those missiles that Bane's vehicle shoots, are the biggest pain to get back in."
"I purchased a few of these summer 2017 sets early off of Walmart. This one is definitely the most interesting. Two-Face is a fantastic minifigure. I wasn't a huge fan when I first saw him, but once I got a minifigure he became my favorite Lego Batman Movie minifigure. Two-Face is the Billy Dee version and has a great hair piece with slicked back hair on one side, and a pink mess on the other. His expressions are perfect for stopmotion, a sinister grin on one side and a surprised look on the other. Two-Face's suit is also very detailed and his arm print is a great touch. On his leg you can see a bit of underwear showing so you can't take him too seriously. His vehicle is by far the best part of the set. Lego does a great job of making a normal looking construction vehicle turn into a dilapidated one on the other side. I also appreciate the reference to Falcone. My only complaint with this vehicle, is that you have to manually push the "scooper" instead of their being some sort of play feature. Batman comes with some nice new expressions. A smile on one side and a very "relaxed" expression on the other. His batcycle is a bit more flat than I would have liked, but it is still a nice build. The GCPD officers are a nice conclusion as well.
Overall, I recommend this set to any fans of Two-Face. Expect a less serious version, however."
"I purchased a few of the summer 2017 Lego Batman Movie sets early off of the Walmart website. This one certainly did not disappoint! The Scarecrow minifigure is great, he has some nice patches printed on his arms and I love his jeans and printed shoes. The Batman minifgure doesn't have the belt (because of the jet pack) or any new expressions. His jet pack is a nice build, though. Scarecrow's helicopter is awesome and a very fitting build to Scarecrow. It has a nice pumpkin fin on the back and broomsticks on both sides. I also feel that the sticker with the 4 orange tubes on it is a small reference to Arkham Scarecrow. The play feature allows you to shoot fear gas bombs off of the helicopter. Finally, the energy facility build is not much, but still a nice touch. It also has a small play feature built in it in which you can explode a fear gas bomb.
Overall, great set for a small price. Any fans of Scarecrow will definitely enjoy this."
"This is probably my favorite minifigure series yet. It is the only series I actually have a complete set of. Every figure is so detailed, you can't go wrong. Not to mention the many new molds. The first row (1-5) has the best figures by far. Every one of the batsuits is packed with detail. My favorite of the first row is vacation Batman. The new rubber duck and google bat cowl molds made this figure a must get. The second row (6-10) is pretty good as well. Dick Grayson and Gordon really stand out. Both of them have lovely print and wonderful excessories. I know people are upset about Arkham Joke being in the series, but I don't mind. For a person who has the Arkham set he is disappointing, but I don't and I really like that jumpsuit. Row three (11-15) is on par with row two. However, the Red Hood that comes in this row, makes this minifigure series worth every penny. As a comic book nerd, I was more than thrilled to get a Joker version of Red Hood. I don't care if his hood is a bit oversized, that figure is awesome. Nurse Harley Quinn is another great figure in this row, as I feel that Lego was referencing the Arkham Asylum game. I also love her hat. Row four (16-20) is my least favorite row. It is entirely made up of obscure villains. Now don't get me wrong I'm all for dumb villains, but I feel like these guys were lacking pizazz. I do love the calculator minifigure, though.
Overall great series and it would be a 5/5. That is, if their hadn't have been defects on some of the figures. I'm sorry, but I shouldn't have to scrub the silver splotch off of the side of Batgirl's hairpiece."
"This set is a cheap and easy way to get the protagonist (Batman) and antagonist (Joker) of the film. Batman is common, but is still a good figure. I love his three dimensional utility belt and his expressions. Batman's sneer and shocked faces are nice to get in this set. The Joker, however is what made me buy this set. His torso printing is really nice and detailed. He has the iconic purple jacket with a bit of his vest patterned peaking out from underneath. What really makes this figure stand out is his coat tails. Using oversized coat tails is a perfect way to make the Joker more of a three dimensional figure. His expressions are awesome as well. Joker has a sinister grin on one side, and is in mid laugh on the other.
The actual set is pretty cool as well. Joker's ballon contraption is very eye popping and comes with those balloon pieces that I didn't have. The flammable tank thing fits in a small play feature, but is ultimately their to connect to the other small sets. Batman's extended grappling hook is also nice, and I think it is the best we will get without Lego making a new mold.
Overall, great set for fifteen dollars. I definitely recommend it if you are looking for the long coat tail Joker."
