"A great little set, my nieces especially like the shark, and rescuing the surfer and various minifigures who keep falling into the sea! I personally like the minifigures in the set which are very detailed and include a lady coastguard and the surfer who can change his expression from "happy" to "scared" when he sees the shark!"

One of the best Lego Friends sets!
"Having missed out on buying this set when it first came out, I was lucky to find one online recently. My nieces tend to like the Lego sets with animals in, and the animal-rescue theme is something they are really into just now.
I like the potential for imaginative play with this set, it could be the scene of a daring rescue, a pirate island, a mysterious enchanted cave, a site on an alien planet, or a nice picnic spot!
The cave and sliding waterfall are a nice feature, and the little tiger and chameleon are cute. I like the crystal which adds more possible play storylines in my opinion (could be a long-lost treasure, a magical artifact, a scientific discovery, or just about anything else!)
So far the girls have enjoyed building the set, and rescuing animals and people from the cliff and the river and treating them for various injuries! They have requested more rescue and medical-themed sets, especially a building to use as a hospital, and more animals.
It would be nice if Lego could release more sets similar to the Jungle Rescue theme in future!"

"The possibilities for imaginative play are great with this set, who doesn't dream of being an astronaut and exploring new planets when they are a kid?
I really like the Mars rover and computer station and there is plenty of detail for a small set.
It is a shame this is now a retired set, I was lucky enough to pick one up second-hand. I wish Lego would bring back more of this theme!"

Very cute set!
"The children I bought it for tend to prefer animal characters to the human ones, so it was great to see a skateboarding dog! I also like there's a dog biscuit as well as a bone for Cookie. Very nice for a small gift and not expensive."

"Glad that I bought one of these sets before they sold out- hoping that Lego bring out more science themed sets in the new year!
I like the astronomy theme, Zobo the robot is really cute and I really like the atom design on the vehicle and Olivia's outfit. The colours look good, being bright and clear with no sugary pastels.
It would be awesome if it included some real star-charts and some information about planets etc. to make it more educational but as it is it is a really fun and cute Lego set!"

"This has to be one of the best Lego Friends sets! It is a shame it is now retired. I bought this for my nieces along with Emma's Lifeguard Station, and the Vet Ambulance seemed to be the favourite. My animal-loving niece was immediately taken with the hedgehog, which is very cute, and they both still play with the little ambulance.
The ambulance was quite easy to build, although an adult might need to help a younger child, and it looks good when built. There is space for Emma to"drive" the vehicle and the hedgehog or another animal or human patient can fit in the back.
It would be nice to have more animal rescue, emergency and medical themed sets in the Friends range- the jungle rescue theme is also great!"

Love the beach theme and design
"I really like the yellow and navy blue colour scheme of the beach hut, which has to be one of the most attractive of the Lego Creator sets. There are some nice details such as the starfish, waves and seagull which add to the beach theme.
The minifigures that come with this set are a boy and girl surfer, a nice touch is that their outfits are completely interchangable so they can both take a turn at surfing!
The interior of the beach hut is quite small, but big enough to fit minifigures inside and can be used as a playset. I like that the set can be used to build different styles of beach hut or a little house, and leaves room for creativity!
It is a shame that this set is to be retired soon, I bought one to give as a gift but am contemplating buying another one before they are sold out."

Good value set for Ninjago fans
"I bought this for my nieces, who are big fans of Ninjago a couple of years ago. I think they also have the Lava Falls and Blaster Bike sets. They liked this set because Kai is a favourite character of one of the girls and they also got a baddie in the set! The set itself was easy to put together, even for 6 year olds, without much adult help. The girls now seem to have added it to their various other Lego pieces to create their own adventures. We are now looking for more small Ninjago sets to get the rest of the characters!"

Good for creativity and imagination
"This is a really good value set, with a good number of bricks, nice colours and interesting designs for the suggested ideas! I bought this for my nieces, who enjoy making their own creations from the various small sets they have but are often short of plain bricks to add to their designs.
I haven't given the set to them yet because it will be a Christmas gift, but think that it will be well received. The dog, the little car and the palace caught my eye because I think my nieces will enjoy making those. I really like the boat model!
I like the Lego Classic sets because there is lots of room for creativity and you can make multiple models from each set!"
