Lego quality control has taken a major decline...
" So I now have the tower bridge, Big Ben, bucket wheel excavator, and another smaller lego set AND ALL ARE MISSING PIECES!!! I been buying and building lego models for better part of the last 20 years and may have had TWO sets total with a missing piece. But to have FOUR IN A ROW? This is ridiculous!!! The only set I have been able to complete so far because it contained all the pieces was the architecture Eiffel Tower.
I'm gonna be patient and allow my missing stuff to come in the mail and for the time being, I will chalk this up as manufacturing errors due to increased production because of the holidays. It's still unnacceptable to have $1500 worth of lego sets sitting and waiting for missing pieces. I'm going to buy the 911gt3 here in a few and I still haven't started on my Sydney opera house. HOPEFULLY I'll be able to finally complete a large set. If either of those two sets are missing pieces, I am DONE with Lego and I'll find me a real car to restore that doesn't require the high expectations I have of lego.
