"I was given this set as a gift which for $15 CDN was great acquiring two members of the Justice League. I love Batman's armour in for his minifigure and his stud shooter gun as well as grappling hook. I didn't expect his eyes to glow in the dark but it is a neat effect. The Superman minifigure is dark blue which is similar to the movie's depiction of Superman though he doesn't have the classic hair curl piece.
As for the Lego set itself, I like the kryptonite pieces added to the set and the Bat symbol, though the flick feature makes it hard to shoot the Bat Symbol. The rest of the set and platform is nice but nothing spectacular. For $15 you can't go wrong."
"I bought this set to add to my Justice League Collection and it didn't disappoint! Wonderwoman is a great looking minifigure with excellent print, detail, and I love the design of her it is my favourite version of Wonder Woman to date. Steve Rogers has a cool pilot outfit and goggles. Ares is an amazing Big Figure which was a lot of fun building, he looks intimidating and even better than the movie version of him! I like how Ares' armour and sword were assembled.
Steve Roger's airplane was a super cool WW II style plane which had great playability and looked movie accurate. I like the colours of the plane and that the propel spins and makes it look appear like it's flying. The one complaint I have with the plane is the stud shooters mounted at the front of the plane is you need to ensure the propellers aren't in the way so you can shoot. This can be adjusted easily enough or you can move the stud shooters to the wing to shoot without anything obstructing it's shot."
"When I first saw this arena and how closely it resembled the movie trailer I knew I was going to buy it. The Gladiator arena in itself was a selling feature for me as you can use this arena to force other minifigures to fight to their "Lego-deaths." The sliding door for the gladiators to use is very neat as well as the collapsible columns and being able to fling The Grandmaster from his seat as tips for a play feature. I like that there is a place to store weapons behind the Gladiator wall & Thor himself can be stored there.
As for the minifigures, I really enjoy this version of the Hulk with the fixed shoulder pad, helmet, war paint, and his hammer and axe which makes Hulk look more rugged. I like that Thor has the Lightning eyes which aludes to what happens during the movie, him being "the God of Thunder not the God of hammers." The Collector is a good looking minifigure which closely resembles the movie's version of him, his face paint contrasts nicely with his clothing. Loki is also a great minifigure, I like his worried/ scared expression when he sees the Hulk in the movie.
This is a really nice set, and I like the minifigures though it being $75 CDN does feel a bit expensive. If they added a longer wall to the Gladiator arena I would've been very happy paying $75 for it."
"When I first got this set I immediately loved it! I like the new look of Hawkeye with one sleeveless arm and his black and purple torso which is more movie accurate, this is personally my favourite version of Hawkeye. I like that Vision's mindstone is yellow and Lego corrected the colour from it's previous version of Vision and his skin tone looks quite vibrant. Spider-Man looks great in this set! I love the new look and the web attachment which can be used to capture villains or heroes in the case of Civil War. Captain America is pretty standard, nothing spectacular about him.
In terms of playability, the semi-truck was a very fun build! It drives like a normal truck but has the cool feature of flames coming out of the tanker which is a lot of fun to activate. The fire extinguisher and flame pieces add to this scene. The only thing I feel is out of place in this set is the flag pole which seems almost like a random accessory to add.
All in all it is a great set and I got it when it was 25% off before it retired so I am very happy with this purchase!"
"This set was the first to have both Black Panther and the Winter Soldier and as a Lego collector these were a must have for my collection. Black Panther's minifigure looks great, even better than some of the new Black Panther minifigures from the movie released in 2018 in my opinion. I love the detail and the print. Winter Soldier has great facial print and they did a good job on his metal arm. Captain America is sporting a new hair piece but other than that isn't too different from his previous minifigures.
I enjoyed this Lego set because all the Lego figures have vehicles to drive during the chase which is pretty great! Black Panther's ship is sturdy and looks very cool with the black and purple colour scheme. Bucky has a motorcycle similar to the chase scene during the movie. Here's where things get a bit weird, Captain America has a covertible SUV or jeep which isn't movie-accurate to the chase scene (neither Black Panther's ship for this scene, though the ship is cool so I'll let it slide). The jeep Captain America is driving feels a bit unfinished, and I would have suggested closing the top and sides of the vehicle off to make pa nice SUV. You can do this easily enough by making your own modifications to the jeep. I did like the feature where you can shoot a missile or rocket from the jeep, that was unexpected but neat.
All in all this is a great set and I'd recommend it to anyone!"
"I bought this set to display the Lego minifigures I had purchased. Being a larger baseplate you can display quite a few Lego figures comfortablely which is great! An unexpected bonus of this baseplate is it is so large that you can create action scenes for your Lego figures to act out (which is only limited to your imagination). My Lego pieces all fit onto the baseplate without falling off and the grey colour is neutral for displaying minifigures which is great.
The biggest complaint I have about this baseplate is it feels quite thin and since it's so large it can bend a decent amount and feel a little flimsy compared to the older original baseplates which were thicker and firmer. If Lego created a grey baseplate that was thicker and firmer in the future I would definitely buy it. The price point of $17.99/ baseplate is decent but feels a bit high. If the baseplate was even $14.99 or went "on sale" for 25% off, I feel more people would buy it."
"I got this set as a Lego collector, Reverse Flash and Killer Frost make their first appearance as minifigures! Reverse Flash is my favourite! Excellent print, he's the exact opposite of The Flash with his colours. Killer Frost has nice ice attachments coming out of her hands and feet. Cyborg's helicopter is great! It has great play features, the only complaint I have is the net doesn't shoot from the helicopter or fit in the helicopter very well. It's neat that the guns from the helicopter are detacheable and Cyborg can carry them. The Flash mini-figure added some electricity to the minifigure which is a nice touch. Lastly this set was quite affordable for 4 minifigures which all seem to have contrasting colours."
"I was given this Ironman Brickhead as a gift and it looks great! The colour scheme and detail on Ironman's suit is excellent. I appreciated the printed Lego pieces instead of having to add stickers to the Lego which sometimes people can mess up. A funny aspect to building this Brickhead is adding the pink "brain brick" which is just under Ironman's helmet. This is one of my favourite Brickhead's and you won't find a cuter Ironman than this."
"I got this Brickhead as a gift as The Flash is my favourite superhero because of his super speed! I primarly have this Brickhead as a display in my office, it's a good conversation starter. This was an easy build and I like how this is a movie accurate to the life action Justice League's Ezra Miller's version of The Flash. I am satisfied with this Brickhead the only thing this Brickhead doesn't have that the other's have is an accessory such as a lightning blast or something to that effect."
"I love this Hulkbuster set! When I saw it I knew I had to have it, the Hulkbuster armour is so cool and it's great how it can fit a minifigure inside it and is very poseable. The movie scene with Ironman and Hulk facing off is one of my favourites as referenced by my title "Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep" as Ironman punched Hulk. Scarlet Witch and Ultron were good additions as well. The only complaint I have with this set is the trap for the Hulk is too small and only covers about half of his body which I don't feel could contain the Hulk at all, with his raw strength and rage. The Hulk Big figure is great I love th detail and classic purple pants. Iron man's minifigure is awesome, I love being able to open his mask and see Tony's face. Ultron is mediocre, he doesn't seem to menacing by then again perhaps that's just how I view Ultron as a villain in general. Overall I love the set! And getting a Hulk Buster is a must for any serious Lego Collector's addition."
