"This set is one of those you don't pick up for a vehicle or scenery etc, but it would have been nice to have something other than the fairly generic vehicle included, which seems like a wasted quantity of parts. I personally would have prefered a bigger statue model at the sacrifice of the vehicle, as the statue is a neat little build and looks great. Recommended for Spider/machete elements and statue, as well as an easy way to get minifig."
"Brilliant variants of three elemental masters. I am particualrily fond of Skylor, as the only other variant is of her tournament robes, and as such I was disappointed her ordinary, red arm design did not appear. The sushi is a nice touch, as are Ash's smoke clubs, made from minifigure heads. My only criticism is Shade's generic weapons. A bit of printing or a brick built weapon would have been a fine addition, but overall it's not exactly a huge loss in this brilliant accessory pack."
"Excellent set. Very pleased Chief O'Hara is joining TLBM universe for the first time. Nice printing and good batsignal (althought the one in Ultimate Batmobile is lightyears better, although this is due to pricing restraints)"
"The Batmobile is one of the most reproduced Lego Batman sets of all time. Of the many, many varieties, big and small, at last we have something completely whack and different. This Batmobile shares absolutely no similarities with any of Batman's previous rides in the Lego world, except one- the Tumbler. And like Nolan's beast, this monster triumphs at creating an imposing vehicle. The new highlights of red and (very, very) Dark grey help to create a very eye catching vehicle. Additionally, the multiple modes the vehicle can sit in (monster truck, sideways drive) show it is also very versatile. Robin and Batman are generic as usual for TLBM, and Man Bat is identical to his previous outing, although one should be aware that his identical nature is due to TLBM crew liking his design so much, they didn't redesign him, and you can hardly blame them, with the neat printing we had before. The Kabuki twins are the best minifigures of the set, appearing in The batman TV series and seen nowhere else, they help TLBM's modus operandi of obscure Rogues to shine through. My only dislike is the long stickers used, but as printed parts are more expensive, I can hardly argue; we don't want the price to increase even more than £50."
"70611 is one of the Ninja vehicles from the Lego Ninjago movie, belonging to Nya, it has a water theme and in the movie can float (although this it does not do unsuprisingly) 70611 is a strong model, with an interesting stud shooter mechanism, which is fed through the model to a trans blue module in the back. Needless to say, I had a lot of fun with this mechanism. The minifigures included are all average and appear in other sets in the theme, with the exception of Puffer, who has a lovely pink helmet which really gives him some character. However, the average score is due to the set as a whole. A lack of functions and character (unlike the other vehicles the ninja use) means it's just not super appealing, and thus this vehicle should probably be the last of the ninja vehicles you pick up. However, I would advise you to pick it up none the less, if only for the sake of completion."
"I purchased 75881 solely for the 1966 Ford GT40, a car I immediately fell in love with because of the beauty of the design, and I cannot say I am disappointed, having bought and built that car. The mixture of building techniques is brilliant, especially, in my opinion the, the building of the front of the car. My only complaint is the usage of stickers- but with the amount of decals included, I am not suprised by a lacklustre amount of printed parts. The 2016 car is also quite neat, although I must admit I am not a fan of it's blue/red transformation color scheme, although I know many will disagree. This car is alot more hulking than it's smaller brother, and once again, the only complaint is the number of stickers (althoughthe windscreen is printed which is great). Finally, the winner podium is a nice, but ultimately forgettable addition to the set, although the use of dark green parts is good, as it makes a change from grey or red. Finnally the minfigures are well done, in particular the vintage jumpsuit driver, which brought a smile to my face due to the detail on him. Overall, a well done set, held back only by the usage of stickers, although this is not really the fault of the designers."
"Excellent Purchase. I was particualrily happy with the inclusion with what can only be described as slices of Nostalgia, mainly nods to previous runs in the Ninjago theme, such as Vermillion Armor and an Anacondrai helmet in Master Wu's bedroom and the hold in general. I was also suprised by the detail packed onto the deck; the area is overflowing with plants, weapons and fishing tools, not to mention a new take on Wu's favourite beverage. The minifigures can all be found in other sets, so all I can really say on that front is they all look as good as expected from the Movie range (very good) and this is the only set you get all the heroes in. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend getting it, because of the beatuy of the bounty, a far cry from the orignial, low sailing variants of the Wu-Cru's trademark base."
"I purchased this set on the 21/1 as part of the 2018 Sons of Garmadon Range. I will admit, I did this mainly for the Killow big-fig, as I have a rather large appreciation of orignial Lego big-fig designs, such as Dogshank and Killow. However, despite approaching the models with less than hopeful expectations they do have their pros. The Samurai X mech is built in a rather pleasantlyvaried construction style, utilising SNOT as well as regular construction, and the inclusion of several rare bricks in Lime green and Teal was welcome. The use of the cars hood for the cockpit was also good. The only major con I have with the mech is the weapons, which are quite tiny , with the spinning shield/gun being particularily disappointing. Additionally, the gold wing pack that can be detached as some sort of sword for the mech is rather odd, and does not look good at all; I have opted to make this permenantly part of the back decoration. Overall, though the mech is excellent, as it was no doubt designed more for play, which it succeeds at with its posability and stud shooters. The Oni bike is much, better in my opinion, with a rather accurate bike design (albeit with the red chainsaw) and in Purple, black and Red, it makes for a nice assortment of colors and pieces, both rare and common. Additionally, the storage for the baseball bat is convinient, and does not detract from the overall appeal. However, I for one am not a fan of the front chainsaw, as it sort of ruins the bike appeal. Others will disagree, but I opted to change it for one of the red hub caps from the Lego Batman movie barmobile to make it more, 'bikey' and less of a strange death machine combo. Also, the skateboards feel rather tacted on, but by opting to leave these off, you lose very little. Ovberall, though a very good SOG bike for thsi range. Finnally, the minifigures in the set. Jay is a nice, but ultimately forgettable variant of everyones favourite ginger (sorry, brown haired) ninja, utilising the new mask pieces in a good way. The inclusion of a double sided Samurai X head- with *Gasp* their identity is good, which i shall not spoil here. However, the star of the show is Killow, with a humoruously tiny head for his enormous body, and a good range of printing to comlete the look. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend the set to anyone, either for the builds or, like me, for the big fig and the color palette."
"I purchased this in october, when it was available to VIP members, but waited until the christmas period to put it together, due to time restraints i had at the time. Pros: The model is very aesthetically accurate, and the different crews/animals/radar dishes are nice touches, which helps to consistently renovate the model (at least in my eyes anyway) Additionally, the millenium falcon contains an extra storage space, and being an MOC maker i couldn't help but modify the model to include an extra room without much shifting or destroying, much to my pleasure. Futhermore, the interior areas are flawless to gain entry to, and although the cockpit is a little tougher to open, it is still good, with the four seater area seen in the movies. Cons: Despite being structurally stable, I cannot help but feel uneasy when I lift the model-purely because when you grip one section to life, the others sag slightly, giving the impression of delicacy. Although this was probably just me being paranoid. Additionally, the range of minifigures is slightly disappointing, as jedi training Rey and perhaps someone else would have been a welcome addition to the crew, as the episode 7 crew, despite Han supporting a new face, were already owned by me. One final thing- only one mynock? That is a little annyoing, as quite a few are seen in the movie, and the rare wings mean i will be unable to replicate them for my display. Therefore, buy this model, because the cons I have expressed are minimal, and you've got to love a box within a box (and the spiral bound instruction manual!)"
"This set is the only one produced for the Dr Strange Movie, and therefore fans will no doubt buy it, even if it is only to get their hands on the titular character. The set itself is very good as a play set, but unfortunately fails to add anything else to it other than that. The arbelisk is a nice touch, with a 'capture' feature for unfortunate minifigures, but it is disappointing to notice the exclusion of any villains from the set, such as Dormammu or Kaecilius. However, the features included are MARVELlous (;)) and the design of the minifigures, particularly Dr Strange, are very accurate to their movie counterparts. The set also includes many rare parts, including a pink power crystal and a light brown treasure chest, and so should be sought out by fans and Lego collectors alike."
