"I haven't bought a LEGO set for myself in ages, and this was a great way to get back into it. I haven't looked at any of the LEGO Elves sets for this year, so when I visited LEGOLAND Florida last week, I was pleasantly surprised to find them in the Heartlake Mall. I am planning on buying the earth fox one soon! This set is very interesting. I was very disappointed in last year's waves because they weren't interesting, so this year is a huge plus so far. This set comes with a buildable fire lion named Rowan, who is a guardian of some sort. She is about the size of Merina, the water dragon. She is pretty articulate, and very detailed. She even comes with a saddle. However, I wish she had fangs on her mouth, like the dragons do. This set also comes with Azari, in a brand new outfit which looks very snazzy. She has this very big hammer to break the chain that captures Rowan to steal her fire gem. The bats, Vespe and Molo, are wickedly adorable. the bat cave is very cool too, because the bats can hang upside down to sleep! The catapult was a nice challenge with all the Technic parts. There is a small water catapult, and a giant chain to trap Rowan in. The front of the catapult has a space to put the bats' wing glider, as well as a map and some food in the back. There is also a water bucket that the bats can carry around. Overall, this set is very cute, and I am looking forward to more."
"I was at LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Arizona last week, and they had these figures. I picked one out, because I had to save my money on other things instead of sets. I felt the bags, since my goal was to get the French Man and his French Bulldog. I ended up getting the vet, and so did my brother! You only snap the character together, then you're done. The value is pretty low, but I chanced out on getting the vet because I have the retired Heartlake Vet, and I'm sure she can work there and help Sophie out."
"I bought this set with a gift card I received for Easter. I wanted this since it came out. This is a very cute set for only $10. It comes with Olivia, who is wearing her signature outfit. The shirt is updated, wit what looks like a white undershirt peeking out, but I think I already have one like that. Then there are three robots included: A slightly updated Zobo since the 2016 Exploration Car, which I have and love, A new girl robot named Zuzu, with a cute little skirt, and baby Zobito, who has a rollerskate for wheels. I presume Zobo and Zuzu are his parents. There is also a package with a printed lid, my first one, which has robot eyes inside. then there is the pink heart charm that comes in the little Friendship Sets. I might turn mine into a necklace. Olivia also has a new remote control since her old lab (This is an updated version) Also included is a worktable with a whiteboard that has a sticker that shows how to build a robot, a picture of Olivia bunny-earing Zobo (Probably from Emma's Photo Studio, which I want) A drawer and hooks for tools, a workspace with a white robot body (Probably what the robot eyes were for) Then there are 3 different colored beds that are charging stations for the robots. The little sticks in the back that support them go through little holes to look like they are charging. There is a baby bottle for Zobito (He doesn't have a button on his belly, so you give him oil with the baby bottle there) And a screen with a battery charging on it. In the spare parts, there are even pieces to make an armless robot, which I found quite amusing. If you are on a small budget, or you're into science, this set is for you."
"I like this calendar, since last year's was a major disappointment. It was fun, and I looked forward to each day! The few times I was disappointed was when it was minidolls or the dishes, because you couldn't build then. I'd probably go buy the Schleich advent calendar for this year. But it was fun, and I loved the polar bear on the 24!"
"I love the little sets like these (Party Train is one I really want) I recieved this for Easter and it was a pleasant unasked for surprise. Olivia has a really cool outfit on. The spinning planetarium is really cute, and I love pretending to see constellations. The SUV is amazing, love the color scheme, and that there is space in the back for a cup, Zobo, and her laptop. It also seats two girls. Zobo is a cute little guy. He's fun to play with, and a great companion fo Olivia's science adventures! I recommend this set a lot, especially for your science loving girls!"
"I recieved this as a Christmas gift, I've been wanting this for a while! Having Olivia's House, (and wanting Stephanie's) I was happy to get this! It's more sleek and stylish than Olivia's (I still love her house though) and it's purple! (I'd prefer pink or mint green houses in the future) The yard is cute, with a small garden, mailbox, painting area, and a vine archway, lots of other details. There is a cute little tree that Emma is painting included in here. A blue bike, and her pet bird with a spinning birdhouse too! Her parents are really cool, I see Emma resembles her dad, but get's her mom's style. (Olivia is more like her dad, and maybe sort of like her mom?) The front door leads into very modern living room with a flat screen TV, a couch, and a table with flowers and a bowl with an apple. There are a lot of glass things in this house, I guess Emma is responsible enough! The kitchen is next, with a lovely dining table and chairs that are harder to fall off of (And the rooms are easier to reach into) A little fridge built into the wall, and a cool kitchen area, and a blue lamp. Upstairs is an elegant bathroom with a bathtub (Olivia had a shower)opening windows, and a sink and beauty supplies. Emma's room is next, and she has a sliding door that leads into a little balconey, with a bed in a small section of the room. She also has a little vanity to put makeup on. The very top is an area with a grill and a table/chair. Then it is the attic with a dusty book and opening windows.
This is a really great set, some things were improved since Olivia, or changed."
"I love this set so much, and it sort of makes me think of Stephanie's House (Wishlist!) in it's sort of cottage look. I love the little scooter for deliveries, and the minidolls are cute. The cat is a nice little addition, and Maya in a plaid shirt is cute too. Mia is normal as usual. The apartment at the top is cute, with it's small space made cozy with a tiny kitchen, couch, table, and a loft sleeping bag. The shop part is cute, with homemade jam, and freshly picked fruits, and freshly made juice and milk. The scale and the shelves are cute, and so is the cash register. There is a little bathroom in the corner, simple but sweet.
I love this set a lot, and it's sweet as it reminds me of the Supermarket (Wishlist) but with a more rural way."
"I got this as a gift for my birthday, and really love it. My cousin and a friend of mine also got this set ;) It's not that challenging to build, and I wanted it for the sake of it's cuteness. I have my own little puppy so I'm crazy over the dog themed sets. The ones for 2017 look interesting, so I'm seeing about buying them! The two dogs, Toffee and Luna, are precious. Luna is a currently exclusive husky dog, she isn't in any other sets yet. Toffee the pug is in several other sets, and he's my favorite in cuteness. I liked the two minidolls included. Mia is her basic outfit, I already have her in this several times, so nothing exciting. Andrea's outfit is lovely. I love her pretty turtleneck and the skirt and shoes really complement her. The puppy daycare itself isn't big, but it packs a lot of fun for hours. The bath tub, grooming area, beds, computer, and feeding area make up the indoors. There is a little door that leads into a fenced yard with a play box/toys, drinking tub, shovel with pail for cleaning up after dogs, spinning merry-go-round, and some obstacles to play on. There is also a little podium with a bow and a bone trophy for contest winners. In the entrance includes a cute little fire hydrant for dogs.
This is really cute, and I recommend it so much!!!! For $30 dollars this is worth it!"
"I recieved this as a gift (along with the water dragon) for Christmas. I loved how it was a little challenging, but not enough to frustrate me like some of the bigger sets. I made fewer mistakes this time too ;) The minidolls are sweet, and I love their little capes. The pegasus are very lovely, such fun to play with even without the sleigh. The sleigh and windmill were easy, not too complicated. I loved that you can spread the wings out, and carry 4 minidolls for various adventures. The trunk to store cookies in was a cute addition. The windmill is amazing! It's fun to spin around and I love the detail! The little cave for the element-unknown baby dragon Miku is cute, and I like pretending that she is guarding the Wind Key. There is a little waterfall and a fish leaping over it. There's even a spot on the top of the windmill for Miku to stand on! I love this set, and recommend it to anyone who loved the first year of Elves."
"I'm very impressed with this set. It's only $20 and you get a dragon, and a cute island. Its nice because for the other dragons, I don't always want the building that goes with them. For example, Zonya is the reason why the set is more expensive, but they threw in cute little builds to go with it. (That is on my wishlist) Anyways, back to the build. It's fairly simple, and a younger child (6 or older) can probably build this set with either little or no help at all. Merina is very cute, she seems more like a puppy than a dragon :P She is pretty articulated, and I love her tail. She has very few stickers, so I call that a relief. Her wings are less articulated than the Queen Dragon, but pretty flexible, compared to Thorne. She has a little water flame to pretend she is breathing water. Her saddle seats only one elf. She has tiny white horns, and a little bow. The island is cute, but pretty random. The catapult to throw food at Merina is nice, but the aim isn't so accurate. The hiding place for the golden binoculars is interesting, and so is the little area for Naida to brush her hair and use perfume. I like the little lilypad and how the island is decorated.
Overall, this set is decent enough for someone who has a tight budget, or needs a simple gift that would thrill any little girl or boy."
