"Okay, everyone calm down about how a set with so few pieces can cost so much. First, consider it comes with a $30 USD Power Functions kit. That still leaves $170 for a smallish piece count. When built, and you gaze upon this gigantic set's spinning blades, any concern you had about spending too much will quickly be forgotten. It is way more impressive in person than any pic or vid will show. Don't delay and buy one today. You won't regret it."
"This is one amazingly awesome set to display! Its instant recognition by even non-Star Wars fans and their wonder at how it is all made of LEGO makes it well worth it as a display piece at work or in your home. My favorite details are the engine assembly on the back and the detail of the gun builds. My only gripes, and they are small, is the fact the gun turns opposite the direction you turn the control and the structure doesn't have the top of the gun bases flat across the top from wing to wing and across the main body. Look at photos of the movie ships and you'll see what I refer to."
"I had been on the fence for quite some time, not wanting to buy such a large set that is truly just a model and won't be played with. I am glad I finally pulled the trigger and got it. It is a fantastic model and it diplays very nicely. Even co-workers who feel being an AFOL is nerdy are very impressed by this work of art. Do not deny yourself the build pleasure and pride in ownership you will have. Get it today before it retires!!"
"My son and I own over 250 LEGO sets ranging from Star Wars to the full Modular line-up and the largest Technic sets. We both agree that this is absolutely one of our favorite sets. It's a friggin shark with lasers, for Pete's sake!
Don't listen to the haters claiming it isn't "movie accurate". If you see this and like it, you will love it in person. It is going to have a prominent position in my office, for certain."
"I asked Lego over 5 years ago to release a Christmas Train so I could put it around my tree since Christmas is synonymous with Legos since I was 6 years old, as it is now for my 9 year old son. I already have all the required Power Function pieces specified to power this thing up and have it buzzing around my tree this year. Coupled with the Santa and other accessories from all the advent calendars, we will have a great time building it. Now I just need to get the Winter Toy Shop and Santa's Workshop to tie it all together.
I plan to dismantle and rebuild every year as a tradition and I will pass this on to my son for his use."
