Bb-8 awesome Lego set!
" Loved this build, the internals were a bit tricky and I had gone wrong at one point took a few looks at the book then the piece to see how or where I had gone wrong.
The outer shell was a bit repetitive as others had said but still enjoyable, it's surprised me sometimes how these Lego engineers do it I would never of got it if I was sat with a big tub of Lego and had to design the first!
Included a picture of wall-e with bb-8! Hope they know the rules for chess!

The Simpsons.........
" I've got a small collection of mini figures I got last year and been looking for a proper home for them since then, pulled the trigger and got this the other week.
So much fun to build and the build comes along quite nicely. The little details make the set, I will admit I put scratchy in the freezer I had a spare from my mini figures and he looks loads better in the freezer.
Loved the way the build came together you get some early rewards with the mini arcade machines and the store takes shape, I did complete this over a couple of days and took it easy to build as I didn't want it to end.
The only fault I had was one piece missing, well I had an extra black 2x2 cube and was missing a corner roof tile, hoping after contacting lego spares this will be winging its way to me now.
Not sure if lego do it, but a separate set with marges? or homers car? would be great!

Awesome the Flagship of my collection!
" This truly is an awesome build, love it! looks great on the bookshelf and has become the home for all my spare mini figures that don't fit in there own star wars ships, plenty of room in this one!
I will admit as its my first big build, I struggled with the plastic cockpit took a few go's to get it to fit and after some reviewing I found that I had put a flat 4x2 piece in the wrong position by one row, after that it all slotted together.
The inner of the ship is full of detail and lots of little spaces, some have said there's no ramp for the mini figures to get in/out, there is on the left side it just latch onto the above part but can be used as a ramp in/out but due to the height of the ships feet its a tight fit if playing flat to the ground. But for me its a display model.
I got this over a year ago post Christmas it was hard to find and I struggled for 8 weeks to get one but glad I have one in my collection.
Unsure what set to get next as I have a full set and have ran out of shelf space! might get an standard X-Wing next, as I have Poe's and that's just as great as the Falcon!

Hhhmmm it's Lego and the right colour but....
" I know everyone was critical about kylo rens shuttle, and in colour and wing flexibility both sorted in this but, this model lacks weight it's quite light as models go, the cockpit has little structure which is disappointing. Mini figures great!
So what didn't I like, the wings lack detail on the outside when in the up position, and the cockpit shell opens in its entirety but they don't quite sit right when back in the closed position.
It's a good representation model and looks great with my collection, just slightly not quite right.

Great lego but flawed....
" As others have said this is a great set with some unique mini figures but it has one great flaw, but will bypass that for a minute.
The Shuttle is well built and is solid, feels very weighty when completed and you feel like its worth the money, the wings have loads of detail and the folding function is great, mine sits in the landed position all the time. I had a lego renewal in my late 30's off work with a back injury stuck with boring daytime tv, my other half suggested a jigsaw "boring" how about some lego, I thought why not, if I don't like it I can always give it to a nephew or niece once built. I know have an X-Wing, Tie Fighter, Imperial Shuttle (has a great wing mech on this even though its older), searching for the Snow fighter from the Battle at Hoth. Its become an obsession, luckily I have room to display them all.
The negatives with the set, well its not black enough more grey, would of been nice in black.
The other fault the wings, they are always in fixed position, is there no official fix for these to have the same "flight" mode that is seen in the film? would be great for some one at lego to review this and hopefully get a fix out to users that want it?
Anyway great lego, has gripped me back into my childhood world of lego!
If you want a suggestion for a new build? howabout the cargo ship from Rogue one with the 4 wings? that would be a great build!
