"Once I saw this set I had to get it...such a great homage to Iron man with some great exclusive Minifigures... it's kinda a repetitive build but it's still fun to put together..the Minifigures are printed extremely well and even the Igor suit isn't as bad as some people made it out to be... it's a nice build and you don't have to use it if you don't want to...my only complaint is that it's a bit pricey but I'm still satisfied with what I got out of this set.its definitely an instant classic.."
"This is honestly one of the best sets this year...its a perfect blend of play set and display set...building it was very fun and surprisingly it wasnt very repetitive despite the walls looking the same..my only small issue was that i wish it had a base plate on the bottom..which would of been useful for when you want to pick up the set and hold the tie advanced...possibly could of added some stability but this set isnt supposed to be moved around and its an easy thing to add if you really want that(like it did)...
Like many of my reviews i dont like to bore anyone with many details they might already know...Just know that if you are a Darth Vader fan(Like me) or a Lego Star wars fan then get this set...you will not regret it...it was a fun build and its a great display set for adults and a great play sets with kids..minifigures are great too, no krennic but its still a great group of figs...you can always add a Director Krennic minifigure to the mix anyway since hes not a difficult figure to get ;)... All in all an amazing set... Vader definitely has the high ground now! haha"

"This set has always been on my wish list...I finally picked it up a few months ago and had fun building it...and as I was finishing up I realized more and more that it's a more of Playset than a display set.. despite it being labeled a UCS set. I know alot of people are upset about it the mislabeling but there were much worse sets that were labeled UCS that were completely off...this set still has a little display value in it ..just not enough to justify the purchase as a display set...I would still recommend it someone who wants to build a set with their kids and sit back and watch them play with it... it's a fun build with very enjoyable play features...just not a proper UCS set but still better than the hoth echo base set haha"
"Out of all the sets that were released with this summer wave this is the one that caught my eye the most...
And I have to say that this is one of the best small sets I've done since the Darth Vader transformation set...it's a perfect display set and also perfect for play to recreate that scene in Empire ...I had alot of fun putting it together and it all came together very nicely ...I don't want to bore anyone with pros and cons ...if you love star wars (especially The Empire Strikes Back) then get this set... period! You will not regret it...
The only downside for me was that a piece of the bacta tank and window pieces was a bit scratched when I took them out of the bags ..I guess it's from moving around with the other pieces with sharp edges..Lego should definitely separate these clear pieces from the others to keep them from getting scratches or something.. other than that I love it...I even put Luke in the bacta tank inside one of slots on the Lego Minifigure display case ..and it looks awesome ..I couldn't believe it actually fit ...it looks great next to my other Luke Skywalker Minifigures...
Lego please do more sets like these in the future... Especially more sets from Empire strikes back... *Cough* *Cloud City*Cough* haha ;)"
"i grew up in the 80s and 90s... i never really got into the first Tron movie but i loved the sequel Tron:Legacy.. So i had to pick this up once it was announced..i wasnt expecting it to be as good as it was....it was a really fun build and the at the end i love how the build ended up..it looks great on display too ..the colors are perfect and it uses alot of unique new pieces...
The minifigures are really well done with great helmets and prints. my only very small issue is that theres no place to put the quorra minifigure but thats ok cause it wouldnt have been movie accurate if she was on the bike or track but im glad she came in the set...its a bit pricey but once you start building it and see it together you will see it was worth it...something about it is just so pleasing to the eyes...i might pick up an extra one if/or when it goes on sale or something."
"Empire strikes back is my favorite movie in the SW series...so I had to pick up this updated set from the movie.. I honestly thought it wasnt going to be all that good cause it's much smaller and less pieces but it's awesome...its also fun to build and very nice play elements to it despite it's size... like Yoda..don't let it's size fool you haha..also the price is a bit high tho..$25 would of been perfect for it
The Minifigures are very cool to have for any collector (like myself) ...my only small issue is the head print on Artoo..for some reason alot of people including myself are getting the prints around the top uneven and weird looking. mine is a bit uneven but not bad enough to be upset about..I'm sure some people might have some real bad ones though ...otherwise this is a near perfect set if you're a fan of Empire or a collector then get this set..you will not regret it!.."
"I have to say that I went into this not expecting it to be anything special...but it's actually kinda Fun Building this set even tho some parts were pretty much repeated...and compared to the original transformation set this one is 100 times better...my favorite feature is the helmet placing part...I was actually excited to finish it and reanact the scene from episode III haha...
I initially go this for the Minifigures cause I've never had an emperor palpatine and the new Vader helmet that's included in this set is a must have for any Minifigure collector.
The only small issue I have is that the part that hold the lightsabers and the probe on the right feels too loose.. it's supposed to be moveable but it just feels too flimsy and like it'll tip if you move it too much or something but it's really not a deal breaker ..just something I Thought I'd mention, Overall it's an Excellent build and fun to play especially if you're a fan of Vader."
"Got this to display my favorite Minifigures like the Back to the future Marty and Doc and Darth Vader Etc...I love how you can put them together with an accessory like a light saber or something...the only downside is that you can't put 2 in one slot cause the plate slides under corner plastic to keep it from moving... Other than that it's pretty solid and very cool that you can connect them together and hang them on the wall. This is pretty much a must have for any Minifigure collector."
