Everyone's favourite Cantina
" I love the original trilogy and would buy every set based on it, so I was really happy when Lego released the Most Eisley Cantina. I also have Luke's Landspeeder, which goes well with this set. The minifigures are excellent and I love that it's a location set, not just another vehicle (although it comes with an Ubrikkian 9000 pod, for those who love vehicles).
Pros:
- Fun to build
- Good play features
- Can be stored closed to take up less room, and opens up for play or display purposes
- Great detailing in the interior of the cantina
- Excellent minifigures (Han Solo, Greedo, Wuher and a Sandtrooper)
- Comes with an Ubrikkian 9000 pod
Cons:
- Wish it came with the musicians, too
Recommended! "

Great way to countdown to Christmas
" This was my first advent calendar as an adult and I loved it! Out of the 24 small builds, about half were great, a quarter were okay and a quarter were "meh". The seasonal ones I turned into Christmas tree decorations, so I am looking forward to putting those on the tree in coming years. My favourite thing about the advent calendar was how creative the Lego designers have been in creating recognisable elements with extremely few Lego bricks. Very impressive! "

Good location set
" The prequels are not my cup of tea, but this set is based on one of the best scenes from the prequels and comes with excellent minifigures, so I knew I had to get it.
Pros:
- Excellent minifigures (Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul)
- Three lightsabers
- Fun play features (push-activated laser doors that open up, a minifigure catapult function and a purification chamber with removable plasma element)
- Good value for money
Cons:
- It's a fairly small set, and feels a little bit cramped
Recommended! "

My favourite Star Wars set to date!
" BB-8 is such a lovable character and I knew I had to get this set as soon as I saw it. I didn't expect it to become my favourite Star Wars set (out of 23 so far), but it has!
Pros:
- Really fun to build, despite some repetition
- BB-8s head bobbles so realistically, due to the use of gears and an elastic band
- Has an extendable welding torch
- Comes with a BB-8 minifigure, too
- It looks amazing!
Cons:
- The welding torch does not extent to a vertical position, like it does in the film
I keep BB-8 on display in our dining room and it brings a smile to my face every time I walk by. Recommended for all Star Wars fans! "

" If you like location sets and great minifigures, you'll love this set! Fun and easy build, surprising amount of detailing both inside and out, minimal use of stickers and fairly film accurate. I really enjoyed this set!
Pros:
- Excellent location set
- The Luke minifigure (love the metal hand)
- You get a Porg!
- Good play value ("turntable" training area outside, ability to blast a part of the wall away, lots of props to play with inside)
Cons:
- Would have been lovely to have a caretaker minifigure
Recommended for all Lego Star Wars fans! "

"Put Captain Solo in the cargo hold!"
" The Slave 1 has been on my wishlist for ages and I decided to just get it after a saw a built model in a toy store. The set captures the ship from the films really well, and I love the colours and the overall design of the ship. It looks so impressive and the finished model is huge!
Pros:
- Very impressive display piece
- Great minifigures, especially Boba Fett and Han Solo in carbonite
- Comes with a sturdy display stand and a little plaque
- Enjoyable build
- Cool rotating cockpit
- Highly detailed underside
Cons:
- Building instructions did not make any mention of the fact that one of the numbered bags had another, separate bag with the same number (cue confusion on my part as I tried to find the necessary piece and it was "missing")
- Stickers (for those of you who dislike those)
- Not a play set (for those of you who like those)
- The set covers the plaque when it's on its stand
This is my first Ultimate Collectors Series set, but definitely not my last! Recommended for all Star Wars Lego fans! "

" Pros:
- Three detailed minifigures, and not the most common ones
- Really fun build, despite being slightly repetitive
- Lots of features packed into a relatively small model
- The completed model looks fantastic!
Cons:
- Can't really think of any this time!
I'd recommend this set to all Lego Star Wars fans! "

Great little set
" The desert skiff itself looks great – I love the railings, both the stiff and the bendable ones. The gangplank is retractable and has to exposed studs to stand a minifigure on. There's a hidden gun in the box on the deck, and a control station. There's some clear pieces included to raise the skiff a tiny bit.
The Sarlacc looks and works very well. It looks frightening even in Lego!
The minifigures are fantastic, as usual. I love Boba Fett, he's my favourite minifigure of all times and I appreciate that he looks slightly different to the Carbon Freezing Chamber, since his appearance did change between the two films.
Pros:
- Great minifigures
- Very fun to build
- Looks fantastic
- Fun play features
Cons:
- Should have included more clear pieces to lift the skiff higher
I'd recommend this set to any Star Wars Lego fans! "

Challenging build, great design
" What a fun build! It was quite a challenging build for me, and for the first time I understood what the orange Lego tool is for. I managed to make several mistakes that I wouldn't have been able to undo and correct with the help of the tool. I don't normally enjoy "upside down building", but in this set it made sense.
Great use of Technic pieces make for a sturdy model with wings and panels that fold and close neatly. The wingspan is enormous, but you can also display the model with the wings in the folded position and it takes up far less room.
I've had my eyes on the Imperial Shuttle Tydirium for a while, but until I can get my hands on one, this is a great substitute.
The interior can seat five minifigures, and I especially like the imposing design of Krennic's seat. This is my first anagonist set, which means that so far I have only been building rundown, worn-out rebel ships. Krennic's seat looks so sleek and menacing in comparison!
The minifigures are also amazing: Krennic *really* looks like he does in the film, I adore the K-2SO, the Death Troopers look fab, and the rest are great, too.
Pros:
- Lovely minifigures, and a good selection
- Quite challenging build!
- Sturdy
- Looks great as a display set
- Some nice play features
Cons:
- Instructions could be even more foolproof
- Krennic's head is only printed on one side
Recommended for all Lego Star Wars fans! "
