Hulkbuster SMASH!
" Having got the UCS Hulkbuster and this on the same day, I'm surprised to say this is the better set, even by looks. I wasn't too sure on it at first, but having the completed model in hand, I prefer it to the 2015 version from Age of Ultron.
First of all, I LOVE the moving arm function. It's really well implemented and fun to play with. I've already given Thanos several uppercuts and bashes on the head with this feature and it's so much fun. There's also a way to fix this feature so the arm stays in place and can be articulated, which helps with displays, where I have it sucker-punching the Crimson Dynamo mech from last year.
Bruce Banner comes in this set, which bothers me twice. One, it's kind of a spoiler for the movie. Not "Giant Man in the Airport Battle" kind of spoiler, but still.... Two, it's annoying as Bruce was half the reason I bought the battle for Asgard set last ear, albeit at a reduced price. I also don't really care for the Outrider turret. It's nice to have, but.... Eh. I also like Falcon's new appearance, I think I prefer the original wings.
TL:DR: I would definitely recommend this set, whether or not you have the original Hulkbuster set this is a huge improvement and well worth the money for the Hulkbuster alone, yet alone the rest of the set. "

Special Hulkbuster Set - Display only?
" My opinion of this set is surprisingly double sided. Mostly, I'm a little underwhelmed. This is a big set, both literally, being around 30cm tall, and figuratively, being a special set marking the MCU's 10th anniversary. To be honest, I feel like they could've done something better with the 10 year anniversary thing. I would've liked to have seen sets from the first phase of the MCU, The first two Iron Man films, The Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America: The first Avenger. If it had to be a UCS set, why not something more interesting like a Malibu Mansion set, with a proper hall of armour, lab, upper room section etc. The fact they've already released two other Hulkbusters, one literally on the same day this one came out, just makes this feel a little like wasted potential.
The set was an okay build, using new and interesting building techniques. I managed to come up with a couple of ways to fix the blue technic pins that everyone's been complaining about. I like the light brick, but wish it was blue or white, instead of orange. I'm also disappointed with the MK43 Iron Msn minifigure, which is almost identical to the one from the Age of Ultron line, except with a few added details. They could have had Tony Stark, maybe Bruce Banner too, or someone more interesting. Also the legs don't move forwards on this thing, so that's lame.
I do like the way they put facing-down wheels on the bottom of the feet and stand though, for extra friction and stability, that's clever. The jackhammer punch arm is also well built and implemented, and I found the fire extinguisher a funny nod to the other sets in the Marvel line which regularly seem to include a fire extinguisher. The display base is epic, and looks really cool on the shelf, even in the dark with the glowing repulsors and light pieces.
TL:DR: This set was made mostly for display. It looks great, but that's about it. I'm pretty proud to have it on display, but I wish it had more features and playability. "
