One-wheeled wonder!
" Despite sitting on one tire (albeit a massive one) and a support bar the Quake Mech is a very stable and solid build. My 7 year old son has been playing with it and it holds up splendidly.
It's thick, bulky -- Earthly. Just like it's supposed to be. The imposing result of the build looks more like a $100+ kit than the $90 retail price so this selection is an excellent value.
While this wasn't the most challenging build I've ever done, there were still some new and exciting build techniques I learned along the way. "

Outstanding detail
" First of all let me please address those who are deterred by the representation of Lady Liberty's face using the modified pentagonal tile: I believe your expectations are far too high.
At this scale, I cannot fathom a way to make a face that would work. Furthermore, it seems that other reviewers were SURPRISED to find her without a face when it's clearly depicted on the box and in images on this site that her face was "missing." Enough on all that -- on to the good stuff.
This build was one of the most enjoyable I've had with the Architecture series. The detailing throughout the model is beyond impressive. It seemed that with every turn of the page I found myself going, "wow, would you look at that!"
I learned a myriad of new building techniques as I constructed this model and the vast number of parts offered in Sand Green is an absolute joy - though I can't imagine I'll ever take her apart!
When your model is complete, take some real time and look closely at the pedestal and robes of the model compared to images of the actual statue. I'm certain you'll be as impressed and in awe of LEGO's design work as I am.

Just too good!
" This set is incredible for what you get for your $30. There should be a value higher that 5 bricks for "value."
It gives you everything you need and more to create some really great Brickheadz. I think the inclusion of the plain white Brickhead is a stroke of genius. It's like the busts sewers use or a template for mass-production; it teaches you what you need to know about what constitutes a "Brickhead." From there you just go to town on customizing it.
If it lacks anything, it's white and light gray. There's a TON of the light gray brackets that are the essential make-up of a Brickhead, but no parts to represent us adult Lego fans that may or may not have some gray/silver on their heads these days. "

" The colors are great, the printed pieces are on point (though a printed forehead tile might have been nice, too).
I mean, it's THANOS. WITH the gauntlet. You HAVE to have it, you know you do... "

All about the details
" There isn't much I can say about this kit that hasn't already been said by several of the other reviews, but I will take a moment to share my personal favorite aspect of this kit: the attention to detail.
Well planned and designed detail isn't anything new for Lego, but in the Brick Bank it is executed in several unique, interesting and aesthetically breathtaking ways.
The tile floor of the bank foyer, the pulleys creating a carved stone look, the plain plastic chair that you find in every coin-op laundry establishment and the studding (yes, a pun on "stunning") detail of the printed windows that face out to the bustling sidewalk surrounding the bank.
An absolutely beautiful model to behold, with more play potential than I expected, if you're like me and you appreciate the fine art of detailing with Lego bricks, get yourself one of these quickly before they're gone for good! "

Best. Kit. Ever.
" So first thing's first, I wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid so when I saw that this kit was going to get produced my geek-out level went beyond any measurable range. In short, I'm biased, but I'll do my best to share my thoughts while ignoring all the visions of Space Camp dancing around in my brain.
The Build: In a word: genius. Apparently it was quite challenging developing this kit and the complexity of the build certainly attests to this. Even if you've been building for years, I can almost guarantee that you'll learn something new while building the Saturn V. While what's on the outside is superb, it's what's on the inside that will really blow your mind. The methods the Master Builders used to create a stable, visually stunning, yet playable model will certainly be studied by us would-be MB's for years to come...
The Finished Model: I used the word once already and I'll use it again: stunning. The fact that it's a large model isn't its most impressive feature, though it certainly is LARGE - bigger in real life than can be appreciated in the photos. It's most impressive feature is how well the model represents the real thing. Oh, and there are NO stickers in this model. Count 'em: ZERO. This kit uses 100% printed pieces to astounding results. I'm sure it pushed the price of development and ultimately the retail price upwards a bit, but the use of printed pieces ensures that item's like the "USA" printed across multiple pieces lines up perfectly every time.
The Play: Sure, you CAN play with it. The genius methods used to create the multiple rocket stages that remain sturdy after several separations and connections, however I don't believe play was what Lego had in mind for this model. You might reenact Apollo 13 a couple times, but ultimately you'll want to display it proudly - and this model is so exceptionally designed that you could even display it in your office at work.
There is no doubt that this model was a labor of love for one of the most exciting times in our Nation's history. The fan designers should be proud of what is the most impressive and visually pleasing official Lego model I've ever seen, and the pro modelers at Lego should be equally proud for the final design of what has been the single greatest fun I've ever had building a Lego kit.
