"I purchased this elsewhere for £50 and was thoroughly pleased when it arrived. I chose to spend a few hours over 3 days to build this as there are a lot of very small parts. I love the hydraulic pieces and whilst daunted by them at first I found them to be fairl straightforward as part of the build. My only criticism is that the instructions are a little unclear at times."
"I was obsessed with funny cars as a kid 38 years ago so I had to take a chance on this set. I wasn't disappointed with it, a nice steady build which results in a huge model. The colours are great, I'm a little disappointed that Lego didn't include a second manual for the alternative build but hey I guess they had their reasons. Maximum profit whilst keeping the costs down! Pip pip."
"One of my favourite Lego sets along with the Assembly Square and Yellow Submarine sets. After a 40 year hiatus from the brick I started working with children with autism and my childhood passion was rekindled. I love the colour scheme, I found it tricky due to the number of fiddly pieces but ultimately it was a very rewarding build. I took my time and built it over a couple of days. Thoroughly recommended to everyone who loves Lego."
"I tracked this down on a well known internet shopping site for £34. A cracking set, the helicopter looks great as do the other vehicles. Very nice to build, I particularly like the Blue Beetle and Killer Moth minifigures, they are the best that I have seen. The DC Batman sets are far superior than the current Lego Batman Movie sets."
"I love the colours, it was a pleasure to build and the detail is amazing. The instructions are easy to follow and the parts come in numbered bags. I'm a man of few words so I'm not going to witter on for ages. Thoroughly recommended."
"This is the first Technic set I've built and it was a pleasure from start to finish. I was a little concerned due to the number of small pieces but the instructions were extremely good. Thoroughly recommended."
"I bought this for myself on a whim and have to say that it is superb. The detail is amazing and it was a lot of fun to build. The minifigures are also great, thoroughly recommended."
"This is my second Modular set, the first being Assembly Square. A nice set to build with lots of great detail, my only gripe is the car which looks a little bit naff, I would have preferred more minifigures but hey ho, never mind. I'd recommend this set although a little expensive when the Assembly Square is only £50 more and has twice as many bricks."
