Lego love at first sight
" This was my son's first Lego set. He was a little over a year old and completely awestruck with the toy. Since then it is one of the first toys he asks for right after waking up in the morning.
The set is really simple, which obviously is a plus when it comes to starting one's adventure with Lego at this age. The fruity bricks serve as an excellent educational tool - both for learning fruit names and colors. The tractor is a neat, solid piece of plastic - strudy, durable and pretty. Inclusion of two figures - a boy and a girl - allow for roleplaying possibilities.
To sum it up: the set is truly amazing and a testament to Lego's toy expertise. "

A lovely simple train set
" This proved to be an excellent set for my son. He is't two years old yet, and this set is both his firts larger Lego set, and his first toy train. The simplicity of the build and the lack of advanced functions of the track system are actually a plus - even a young child can play and assemble the track without a parent's help. The car actually can merge with the train and go around tracks, which is a bonus (even though it may not be the best traffic safety lesson, and this set is actually a beautiful tool to teach your children about that!). I highly recommend this set as a starting point both into the world of Lego, and into the Duplo track system.
