Excellent build and play experience 5 stars
" What a great kit! The build overall was very satifiying with many different powered mechanisms running through the main frame. Once complete you have a beautiful blue all terrain recovery truck that actually does what it's supposed to and does it great! The boom crane is strong and can upright my overturned EW160 or Claas Xerion tractor, check out pic. It also looks great with a mean stance on 6 all terrain look tires. The outriggers are strong and do thier job well. In driving mode it runs good quicker than I expected ans easily goes over our indoor obstacle course.
My 3 yo son and I are having a great time running it I reccomend it to everyone who enjoys Technic.
A tip for future builders, turn the string before you tie the knot to the boom so the 2 hook lines hang parallel and not twisted. Overall, my favorite set so far. Keep up the great work Lego and happy 40th for Technic!

A true joy to build and play with!
" The Claas 5000 Variable Cab tractor is one of my favorite builds so far. The 3 steering modes is excellent and the Lego designer deserves an award for it! The way the hood comes together is pure beauty. The way the attachments connect to the tractor is great and leaves the door open for you to create your own. If you havn't bought this set go ahead and get it you won't be disappointed. Even the piece count at 1977 pcs is the year the awesome 851 tractor set was introduced. Once you complete this beautiful model is when it hits you that Lego really tried hard to make this one special and they succeeded!

One of the best sets ever!
" This set took about 5 hours to build. I went ahead and added the power functions. The lights work perfect to illuminate your work area. It's a nice compact size packed with tons of features. The pneumatics work great Nice and smooth. The excavator arm reaches far below ground level and will lift the front of the loader up in the air. Me and my 3 year old son are having a great time picking up bricks and dropping them in another spot with the bucket. I love this set due to great price, great features and not too big like some other sets.
