Great fun
" I went into one of my nearby chain stores with the intent of buying a Lego set, I wasn't sure which one but when I saw this set I was immediately sold on it. It reminded me of my favourite plane, the WW2 Corsair, it was also a 3-in-1 plane and I have the Island Adventure seaplane from a few years back which is one of my favourite sets. This was fun to build, I really enjoyed how the engine came together as well as making the wings. It has stickers, which for me is a negative due to having unsteady hands, but this set looks better with its sticks than without. I would have liked some hair for the pilot so that he could look dashing with his helmet off, but I can add that from my collection. I recommend this set.

Excellent set for Star Wars Rebels fans
" This had been retired but I managed to hunt one down as I am a huge Rebels fan. I really enjoyed building it and I am glad I have the early Kanan Jarrus minifigure, and while the speederbike is oversize in comparison to Kanan I quite like it with all the detail that it has. I particularly enjoy that the set comes from the first episode of Rebels, "Kid, I am about to let everyone in on the secret." I have this built and setup with my custom made Kanan Jarrus lightsaber and the Phantom 2 set that has the blind Kanan minifigure and Chopper.

Fun adventure set and excellent flying boat
" I really enjoyed building this set, particularly constructing the wings and tail, as well as how everything clicks together. I like the touch of the small map, as well as the opening and closing storage space and cabin access. The minifig is also a cool little dude. Like the Lighthouse Point set I also enjoy the touch of building small birds (hopefully Lego gives us a set with similarly built magpies at some point). I totally intended to build the house and the boat but can't bring myself to take the plane apart, I may have to get a second set. I hope Lego continues with the 3-in-1 creator sets and develops more along the lines of this adventurous flying boat.

Beautiful creator set
" This is one of my favourite Lego sets. I enjoyed the challenge of building from the un-numbered bags and I was really looking forward to the modularity of the lighthouse build. I have only built the lighthouse-centred iteration but have been using its modularity to try out different looks, now after finally arriving at a setup I am happy with I am thinking of using the modularity to make it easy to add a jetty and small telescope. I hope Lego comes up with more modular creator sets such as this one. The set also has a really nice ambience to it, with the family, their house, and the killer whale. I really enjoy how the set is built from the ground up without using pre-moulded pieces.
