" A lot of people are really down on this set. I can see why, to be fair-it really is a pain to interact with the inside of the bus. Maybe a hinged system of some sort would have made it easier to put people in their seats. Also, there are some complaints about fitting both bikes on the rear of the bus. It's true that it's not as easy as it should be, but you can fit them both in snugly if you take a few seconds to push the handlebars away from each other.
On the other hand, aesthetically, this set is a real pleasure to look at. The bus has a bright, cheerful colour scheme that lets it stand out from the predominantly blue or red cars LEGO tends to put out, and the addition of an wheelchair accessible area is a nice touch.
One of the things that people seem to be the least happy about is the price point. I'd agree with this, but not to the extent other reviewers have-I got this set for fifty dollars CAD on sale, and I'm quite happy with it.
The bus comes with a bus stop and a newsstand, both of which fit in well with the smaller LEGO sets I have on display. There's a lot of attention to detail on these smaller builds, with a bus schedule on the inside of the stop, as well as an advertisement someone plastered up on the outside.
There are quite a few stickers on this one, but they did try to only use them when necessary, such as on uncoloured doors or to lend the front of the bus some visual flair, as well as the usual license plates.
Overall, this is a better display piece than a play piece, but the smaller elements are nice for those who want a busy-looking city. "

A Pleasant Surprise
" I was actually kind of hesitant about buying this for my collection, what with it not being in any film/show episode, but after I went through with it I wound up being pleasantly surprised. This is a nicely chunky build that's quite sturdy-a great toy, especially at this price point. It's got a great swoosh factor, and with the tilting moisture evaporator feature I can see kids getting a lot of mileage out of this one.
While I don't have a snowspeeder to compare this to, the structure is pretty much the same as pictures I've seen, aside from the addition of two fins and the lack of a tow cable (which leads to a more visually interesting rear view). About the only complaints that I can think of is that the stud launcher for the rear cannon looks out-of-place and can't be aimed up or down, and that there are some open studs that could really have used a 2x2 round tile like the other snowspeeder sets.
It fits in quite nicely with my Tattooine vignette. I'll give this set a recommendation.

A great centrepiece!
" I had planned on waiting to get this, but circumstances aligned and I got to pick this up a few months early. Wow! There's just a crazy amount going on in this set. Where to start?
Lego has really stepped up their game with the little details on this one. Sinks and toilets actually have "water" in them now! I'm considering refitting the detectives office toilet with the new bowl just for that nice little effect. The lego collector's apartment (condo?) is very cute.
I'd say I probably had the most fun working on the first floor cafe. That sign is really cool! The chairs outdoors are a bit of a problem, though. It's had to fit minifigures into them without knocking the lamps over or the table out of its socket.
Jeez, I could talk about the build itself for a long time, but there's plenty of pictures here already and experiencing it yourself as you build might be part of the experience. I'll take a step back.
The price point on this one is higher than every other Creator Expert set. If you're starting up, or if you're not really sure if collecting CE is for you, I wouldn't really recommend it. It's a challenging build. On the other hand, if you've already got a street set up, this makes a really excellent centrepiece for your city.

Great looking set
" This is a great looking little set! The vibrant green sets it apart from many other Star Wars sets, and I like the little blaster pistols (have we seen those before?). The curved sides were pretty interesting to install.
The set is larger than I was expecting, as big as or maybe bigger than the Republic Tank set. Price is excellent for the piece count.
Only real downside is negligible-there are two storage compartments, one on each side. Rather than being hinged, they just click into other bricks, making them somewhat troublesome to open. I imagine it'd be pretty easy to forget they're even on there.
I remember seeing the original set on shelves when I was a kid. That set looked pretty good, but this is even better. If you like Star Wars, this one has a lot of potential. "

A good simple set
" This is an excellent small set for the price. It's nice looking, surprisingly lightweight, and has a lot of play value to it.
It has plenty of storage space, but I suspect even someone with small hands would have difficulty locking the cargo into place, so when the plane is jostled all the cargo clatters around inside. Considering the package marked fragile, this ends up actually being pretty funny. "

An excellent addition to your city.
" This was my first modular set, and I'm happy to say it exceeded my expectations. There is simply an incredible amount of detail in this set. The friezes on the outside are beautiful, and the interior is as well. The tile flooring...floored me. And the fact that panic buttons for the tellers were included was a nice touch.
Whether you prefer your sets for play or display, this set will leave you satisfied. The aforementioned exterior elements create an upscale feel, while the huge windows allow you to see the interior decor very clearly (including the diamond chandelier, which I hadn't realized was part of the set and was an excellent surprise.)
Play-wise, there's a lot of options. Whether it's business as usual or a sneaky heist through the chimney, I'd imagine you could play with this set alone for hours.
Lego CITY sets traditionally have a lot of criminal minifigures, and this would certainly be a feather in their caps to knock over. The vault contains stacks of cash as well as rare coins, gold bars, and gems, and the vault door has a mechanism that allows it to lock, which was pretty cool.
I also liked that the building wasn't solely a bank, incorporating a smaller laundromat along the right side of the building, possibly just for the "money-laundering" pun. Still, the diversity is good.
The Money Transporter city set fits in well with the bank, and creates an extra level of detail for robbery scenarios.
Small details I enjoyed were the little stepladder, the portrait of the manager's father, and the Scooby-Doo newspaper hanging in the laundromat.
I'm very happy with what I spent on this set, and intend on getting more modular sets to expand my street.

A Perfect set for towns
" I ordered this in to accompany my townhouse, and it's a perfect building for any LEGO street. There's a lot you can do with this one.
I built this 3-in-1 into the building on the box and fell in love with it. The sandwiches as well as the larger sandwich sign are excellent, and the detail inside is pretty good as well. The ladder with a skylight/trapdoor looks great.
The set has a lot of interactivity, with the upstairs apartment, rooftop overlook, and naturally the deli itself, which I wound up treating as more of a cafe using my other food blocks.
The only thing I didn't end up liking about the set was the child, specifically the legs. I didn't know that the legs couldn't move on child figs, but I ended up swapping them out for a regular set from my bin instead.
The great thing about the deli (I haven't really had the heart to rebuild it into the other two, it's too nice!) is that there are essentially three ways to place it: corner style, as displayed on the box, or you can remove the cornerpiece and fold it open or shut. I tend to keep the corner attached as the sign looks good, but if you close it you can have either the deli or house entrance open onto the street. Both look good and fit in with a typical street. "

Solid Builds
" Picked this little beauty up a few days ago and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it looks. I tried out two of the three possible builds, starting with the Cafe. The climbing trellis looked excellent and the tiny coffee machine was cute, but the garage for the moped ended up feeling a little too cramped to work the door.
I ended up reassembling it into the townhouse on the box. The townhouse has some excellent features-I particularly like the fire escape and flat-screen TV, (That was a clever build, that) though I thought the block poodle was a bit out of place when they already have dog pieces.
This manages to look nice folded up or extended, as well. Only real gripe is that for the first build there were lots of pieces left over, a bit of an oddity for a 3-in-1 set. Still a good purchase for the price. "
