An absolute must have for collectors
" I can't express enough how good it is to have these cases finally available at the LEGO store.
For anyone who likes to collect minifigures (or is looking for a nice way to store LEGO Dimensions minifigures with the tags), these cases are by far the best solution.
They do connect vertically and you can build shapes with them just like you would with a 1x8 brick.
It takes 16 minifigures which is good for the normal collection of the Minifigures Series.
However, special collections like the Disney one, have more minifigures in them so if they made these in a 1x10 format, it'd be even better.
Still...if you want to display your minifigures and keep them away from dust...this is for you. "

Great...except for the design flaws
" I wanted to give this set a great rating. Unfortunately, I can't. It looks amazing, no doubt. However, for the price you pay for it, it has one MAJOR design flaw which I would like to see Lego officially acknowledge:
- The hinges used for the mechanism that raises the bow of the ship don't last a long time. In fact, after little more than a weak, the hinges on my set were no longer able to keep the bow up. The first level of inclination was never able to keep the bow up and the second position wore off very quickly. The weight at the front is just too much.
And my set is on display, it's not played by children. So for children playing with this, I'd imagine that hinge lasting even less.
So, for the looks, it's very nice. For display with the bow down, it's very nice. But for display or play, with the bow up, it's terrible. The design has a serious defect which, personally, I would like Lego to officially release a fix to. I've managed to find a temporary solution but it's ugly and unelegant and given the price one pays for this, not acceptable. "

" An amazing set. So far I was not very impressed with the Lord of the Rings sets that have been made, but Lego definitely nailed it with this Orthanc one.
Both kids and collectors will want this set and will certainly take pleasure either with building it or playing with it.
Now here's hopping for other LotR's buildings to be made like Barad-dûr or Minas Morgul. "
