Show Stopper Looks, Could Be Better
" This is a great set for those who love motorbikes. It really captures the general design cues of the Ducati. It's a pretty large bike once built-surely will catch your friends attention when they come and visit. However, as much as i enjoyed building this set, it falls short in a few areas. 1st-yes yes i know it's not a 100% copy of the actual bike, but in the pictures of the actual Ducati bike provided in the building manual, you clearly see a front fender which could have easily been incorporated into this set. 2nd-the back of the bike in the lego version, I feel was a bit rushed and could have included a bit more design elements of the original. 3rd-moving onto the actual building of the bike, I feel that the drive chain area to include it's surrounding design is too big and the steals from the final finished look-the bike looks better from the opposite side. 4th-the front screen could have been designed better with an actual lego window or hard plastic clear window sheet held in place by two hooks or something rather than using the flimsy plastic opaque piece provided that is held by two "red swords". 5th-the stand for the bike could have been wider to clear the fat rear tire and finally the use of stickers is way crazy for this small set. These stickers eventually dry up and flake off and I wish on this model that Lego actually had pre-printed the logo's and script on the panels directly for long-life display. Other than these nit-picks from me, it's a great and fun set to build and display and the price is on point. "
I would recommend this to a friend!
