Batwing to complement the Batmobile
" Once I was getting the Batmobile I simply had to have the Batwing as well.
The Batwing itself is a pretty cool design imo and the designer has done a great job of replicating the movie model in minifig scale. I think it is very nicely constructed and goes well with the Batmobile.
I also love the Riddler figure and the use of a gold crowbar as his cane.
I'm not a fan of Commissioner Gordon's car at all even though it is quite a clever build.
The Riddler's chopper is also not impressive to me but it too is a quite clever design. I do like the cash safe though with it's "lockable" door.
Even though the above two vehicles of this set do not excite me, I think this set overall is a decent buy as it is a good, fun playset for reasonable money.

Tim Burton would surely approve
" I was mega excited when this set was announced as this is my favourite Batmobile. This version is a brilliant minifig scale model with some fun play features built in.
My son and I had wanted to build something just like this and we were in design phase when this set was announced so there was no question about getting it. The build is fun and includes a few cool techniques and the final product is pretty faithful to the movie model imo. The one area that obviously differs though is the nose cone which has been substituted with a bat symbol, but I think this works in this model anyway and looks good.
Finally, the price of this set makes it totally worthwhile! If you are a fan of the Tim Burton Batman movies then this set is a must-have.

A lovely set until parts break for no reason
" I was super keen to get this set when it was released and i rather enjoyed the building experience once i received my copy. The result is a cleverly designed and lovely looking display piece. That is until one day you notice some of the sails lying on the deck of the ship. The brown clips that hold the sail bars to the masts were obviously part of a bad batch as 2 of them had broken without the model having ever been touched since it was built. I figured i would simply replace the broken parts with pieces from my (very large) collection, only to find that brown clips are extremely scarce amongst my array of pieces. I pulled a couple from my extra ninjago docks set and i then took the bottle apart to access the broken ship. As soon as i touched the ship two more sail bars fell off as their clips broke. i now have zero spare brown 1x1 plates with clips on top. I tried to request some from Lego broken and missing pieces service, but the reply i got was that my order would not be fulfilled. I then contacted Lego customer services twice and i have never received any response. I have never had such an issue with any other Lego set and as my first experience with customer services this was a huge let down for me, especially given my passion for Lego. "

Next stop: London
" This is a great model which has earned one of the prime spots on my display shelves, alongside my tower bridge. It couldn't reach the level of the Porsche, but it is a very different type of model of course.
Another reviewer has complained that this model is not true to the original real thing, but there were so many variants of these buses and one simply has to look at a few Google images to see that it is an excellent representation, especially considering that we are talking about Lego here, with its standard dimensions.
Even though this set is under the Expert range, the build itself was not all that challenging, but I still found it very rewarding, and I think there were quite a few clever techniques used that raised my eyebrows when they came together. I also enjoyed discovering all the little details that add to it, like the forgotten brollie, and the sliding window for the driver. My girlfriend even wanted to get involved and that is saying something.
If, like me, you love London, then this is most definitely a model you should own. And even if you are not a London fan, this is a lovely model from both a build and a display perspective.

The ultimate Lego model
" I am a Lego addict and this is the set that most places me in a state of Lego Nirvana... Seriously, I love Lego models like Tower Bridge and the F40 and the Sea Cow, and I especially love Technic models like the mobile crane, but this Porsche changes the game. It is not only a brilliant example of Lego machinery and innovative construction but also a stunningly beautiful and incredibly accurate model of one of my favourite cars of all time. "

Awesome model
" This F40 model easily comes into my top 5 LEGO sets of all time!
The build was challenging enough and includes some brilliant techniques.
The final product is just incredible!

Could be my new favourite LEGO model
" I love big LEGO sets and I have most of them. This is one that I have been very excited about... And when it arrived I could not wait to get started on building it!
The build itself was great! Just challenging enough to keep it interesting, and a very good and pretty sturdy design.
The final model is huge! It looks fantastic and has brilliant details.
I especially like all the nano-scale details, in particular the nano-figures (they really are too small to be micro-figures).

I'm so chuffed
" I've always wanted this set but always felt it was overpriced. This weekend after a visit to Legoland Windsor my girlfriend bought the Death Star for me. With help from my kids, we put together one of the best Lego sets ever! I love that you get all the key characters and that you could play out some of the main scenes from the Star Wars movies. There are some very cool features and the Lego designers have done an excellent job on this set. "
