Great product, easy to use
" I love these. I can store my regular size lego bricks in them and at the same time build with these huge bricks. The kids would like to get enough to build a real playhouse, we'll see. It would be fun, for sure.

Disappointing, almost identical to 10199
" When I got the original toy shop 10199, I loved it. It was the start of my Holiday collection. When I found out that this years Christmas set was going to be another toy store, I was expecting at least a different version of a toy store. After all, a Christmas village could have more then one toy shop. Instead this set was basically a reissue of the 2009 set. If you did not get the original set, this will be a great addition to a Winter village set up. Otherwise you are just duplicating a set already in your layout. I have no problem with lego reissuing a popular older set, but please do it in addition to a new set, not instead of it. My kids are disappointed as well.

My teenagers enjoy it as much as I do
" With my youngest being 16 building lego together as a family had pretty much become a thing of the past and more and more my own hobby. Then a few month ago, the Simpson house was the first lego set in a while that two of my kids built together with me. So when this set came out we were all exited and looked forward to its arrival. We were not disappointed. There is so much detail and again we had a great time as a family to put this set together. I hope for more sets to come to add to this series.

Lots of fun
" I was not going to get this set originally because of poor reviews and it seemed to much like a fair to go with my idea of Christmas. I got it anyway since I have all the other Christmas sets, now I am so glad I did. It fits in a lot better than expected with the my whole lego winter village and for the children it seems to invite more interactive play than the other Winter sets.
I very much hope next year there will be another set added to this great collection. "

awesome set
" This is my first big technic set. It was the most challenging lego set I ever built, but the instructions are very clear as long as you make sure to follow each step and not miss anything. I really enjoyed the process and the finished model. It is very durable, you can make it climb over fairly large obstacles without a problem, and if it happens to bang into something, it still stays together without a problem.
There is a lot of detail, it even helps me to understand how my real 4x4 works.
I will definitely look for more big technic sets in the future. "

my largest technic set so far
" I have built lego for 45 years, and have 100s of pounds of lego in my house. But other than a few smaller sets for the kids never got much into lego technic. I built the 9398 4x4 this fall and got absolutely hooked. I like this set even more. I regret I never gave the technic theme a chance before, I missed out on so much. The detail is amazing.
It is amazing how well this sticks together, even my young grandchildren can have fun with it (once it is built). "
