Disappointing set.
" Much smaller than previous sets, the roof of the pagoda was unstable, very disappointing compared to previous Lunar New Year sets. "

very boring build except for Nian
" A let down from last years Lunar New Year kits. This is a very boring, flat, not colorful kit, except for Nian. Not recommended. No fun movable parts. "

boring build
" Except for the green house which was cute, the rest of the castle build was boring, especially compared to the earlier castle builds which we built. Disappointing. Rooms are small and nothing moves. "

missing pieces in the first bag
" Very poor quality control. Missing 2 necessary pieces in the first bag that prevents the build from continuing. Lego refuses to send the missing pieces, even though the warranty says that missing pieces will be replaced. Lego said they need to make sure everyone will get the pieces so they will no longer send missing pieces under their warranty. Happened to a friend of mine as well, with the Diagon Alley set, when he requested a second missing piece, they refused to send it. Very poor customer service and quality control! "

Disappointing for such an expensive set
" The set is divided into 4 kits, basically $100 per build. There are not enough mini figures, and not enough fun, colorful, interesting things to build. The details that are included are cute, but there could be so much more. If I had spent $100 and purchased each build separately, I would expect more. Too many stickers instead of imprinted bricks as others have noted. If they sold the entire kit for less money it would be more fair in price, but as it is, it is overpriced for a not-so-complicated build. There was an issue with getting a chair to attach to the roof of Fortenescue's ice cream shop; we had to add a thin layer of bricks below the attachment brick to make it sit above a roof shingle so that it could work. Cute and fun for Harry Potter fans but a bit disappointing overall. "
I would recommend this to a friend!

terrible experience, not recommended
" The detail and cuteness of the mini-figures and the upside house is great. The problem is when we tried to put the two homes together, once we got the 2 trees attached, before we could attache the front fasteners, the weight of the houses separated and while trying to hold the parts together, other parts separated. What a waste of TIME and money!!!!! Very disappointing, after spending all that time assembling the two houses, to have the entire thing fall apart is disgusting. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this item. Now that I checked, there are 16 other reviews that complain of the same thing happening! "
