"I thought about buying this set for years until Lego quit producing it and I thought that was that. It was a great surprise to discover that this was back in stock so I didn't hesitate so much this time and bought it for myself almost instantly.
It was a satisfying build as always with bigger Lego sets, but even after finishing this I still have some questions about some parts of its instructions. I wrote about this to the customer service, but I didn't get a reply, so I just mention this here again: what is depicted on page 94 (instruction No. 156), seems to be unachievable since there just isn't space for a brick combination placement like this. Maybe Lego can review that part of the instructions?
That step is also the one thing that made me put this set on hold for almost 3 weeks, because due this I encountered problems with instruction No. 236 and 237 on pages 130 and 131, respectively. Sure, I found out that had missed a brick in each of these brick combinations and was trying to place them in a wrong way at first, but even after correcting it, I still am not completely satisfied with the result of the relevant part of the set. Doesn't look as neat and flush with the surface as it should be.
Then again, anything isn't loose and it is a great set for displaying. Its length is crazy impressive."

"I only bought it do redeem a VIP reward having noticed this some weeks earlier. And I'm surprised how enjoyable the building process of this little meta set ended up to be -- I had tons of work to do but I was also so done with work and needed a leisure activity to cool off. This set ended up to be the perfect tool for giving your brain a much-needed rest as this was an easy, quick build and is definitely pleasant to look at."
"I like the fact that it's very ambitious and demanding set which doesn't necessarily spark joy with every next package of bricks (feels like a endless amount) but gives great satisfaction once you see how sturdy it becomes after all this building. It's also a great way to exercise patience because it's not a one night build; if you want to really enjoy the process of building you have to take your time and make sure that you don't rush it and make mistakes that can create problems at the next steps. It was also a great way to get off the 24/7 newsreel which has been otherwise almost impossible to accomplish.
Still, there are some details I think could be improved. First, the stand won't give me necessary assurance that it will hold the Batwing's weight. It should be more proportional to Batwing's dimensions. Second, the removability of the canopy isn't a great idea in its current form, because it gives me the feel that I did something wrong in the process as it doesn't really fit perfectly. Also, what happens when I decide to put the Batwing on the wall (which I will do)? Will it fall off or stay on its place with 50-50 chance of falling off?"
