Excellent for Play or Display
" I spent quite a while building it and even after I was done, I had to make my own stand just to have it posed in flight mode. It's a pretty display item and it serves perfectly as a play set too. It's solid and the action features are very well hidden and subtle. The only gripe I have with the build is that the cockpit has trouble staying up which can be a pain when repositioning the figures inside. Although the price per piece is pretty normal, I'm not sure that most buyers would be totally happy with paying $100 for it. "

An X-Wing I can get behind.
" It may not be the iconic red design but this is still a solid X-wing and this time it has the benefit of the latest Lego building techniques and molds. I've been building with Lego since I was a child but this set still took me a couple of hours to completely finish. In my opinion, this is the best option for a Lego Star Wars vehicle currently available. "

Great set but not worth retail price.
" I love the look of this set, it takes me back to the old days of Aqua Raiders and cool vehichles in Lego sets. I feel like the really great, original designs for sets have become more and more rare so a pleseant little gem like this is a must have for Lego fans. The only reason I even bought it was for the design of it. Sadly, a $40 retail price is just too high for the size and experience with the set. Don't get me wrong, I highly recommend the set but just make sure you don't pay any more than $30 for it. "

Good set. Shop around for deals.
" I've always been a big Scooby-Doo fan so this set was a no-brainer for me. You get a decent amount of pieces and a solid building experience for an MSRP of $30 but I think you'll feel a bit better about the purchase if you shop around for a slight discount. It's still a nice, detailed set that collectors and kids will both enjoy having. "
