"Overall, a good building experience. Not the most technically challenging of a build. Only real complaint would be the back isn't quite finished, leaving an exposed engine. Would've been nice to see a covering. The play functions are easy to use. The exhaust pipe controls the steering, the beacon light raises/lowers the forks, and the tilt is controlled by two levers on either side of the cab. The pallet that comes with the build can easily accommodate different cargo. I haven't had a chance to try out the second build, but expect it to be good."
"Overall, a fairly simple set. The Ideas team really did a great job interpreting TheBrickBrosUK Ideas submission to create a nice display and even play set. While I would've gladly payed 20 or 30 USD for the original submission, I do like the retail set better. That said, at 35 USD, this set is a bit over priced for the amount of parts received. Also, a little spoiler...both cycles are identical builds, with the exception of color. While I built them individually, it's possible to build them together like any other identical builds.
Pros: -Great looking set for display and even playable. -Excellent minifigs. All three are stunning and will probably only be available in this set unless the Lego Group and Disney decide to sell more Tron sets. Tbh, they are probably the best part of the set. Pictures do not do them justice. -Well executed set created from an great Lego Idea's submission. Thanks, BBUK and Lego.
Cons: -At $35, the set is over priced. Would recommend waiting for a sale if you're on the fence. -Only nitpicky compliant is there's a little bit of a grey that doesn't fit in the main body of the light cycle. Wish the 2x4 Technic brick was available in black, but unfortunately Lego decided not to release it in a new color for the part.
Conclusion. Excellent set for $20...maybe $25 because of the minifigs. At 35, not so much. If this set isn't a must have, I recommend waiting for a sale."

Fun Build
"All in all, this was a fun set to build. Having not owned a lego set in the last 15 years or so, I decided to pick this set up as an introductory set before building the Saturn V set. Having been away from Lego for so long, I'm impressed with some of the smaller features I've never experienced including the white hook type pieces that hold the side of the cockpit together. Pros: Easy enough build for a return to Lego building. Very solid build. I feel like I could drop it and it wouldn't fall apart easily. Like all of the minifigs, including the R2 unit. Also the service vehicle was a nice addition. Cons: My biggest complaint is the use of white half cylinder pieces that get covered with grey stickers. As the stickers don't cover the entire piece, there's a very noticeable break in the coloring. Would've been better if they used the grey pieces instead."
