"21309 Saturn V is the rocket that took Apollo 11 to the moon in 1969. My favorite build I've done so far. The build was challenging and extremely well designed. It's outrageously fun to watch everything start to take shape . The set can be repetitive without being tedious however. Comprised of 1,969 pieces (also a reference to the year of the moon landing), The Saturn V rocket is made up of three sections that separate to show its operation in flight. The set also features a small lander scene (with an extra astronaut), as well as the water capsule the astronauts returned in! The rocket stands just under 3.5 feet tall and was an amazingly fun build clocking in just under 7 hours of total build time. Pictures included below including one with a bottle of water for scale."
