Maybe if I had more hands
" This was a very fickle build. The directions were hard to tell exactly where things attached to each other. Often had to drag in extra people to hold something while you were putting bottle together. The clear pieces are not like regular Lego plastic and resist solidly clicking together. When half way together I found an even bigger problem. The mast is too tall for it to slide in. Rechecked directions 4or 5 times and all pieces before it are in place correctly. Tried a no-no and tapped with a small wood mallet but to no avail. Ship with mast would not slide in bottle. In the end I has to bulge out one side of the bottle (seams are not clicked together fully) or the would be a bottle with no ship. Looks a bit sloppy. This one took longer than it should have but mostly for reasons above. Creative set but did not work out well. I gave it 4 bricks but that is really rounding up from 3 1/2.

Surprising favorite
" I bought this because my grandfather was born in a spot near a fishing village. Made me thing of him but hadn't really thought of sheathed it looked like an enjoyable build or not. Has turned out to be one of the best ever. Is a complicated build and you have to watch the directions very closely or you will be backtracking to move pieces. Came out very impressive. Because of this I have now purchased the creator expert detective's office and brick bank to see if I will enjoy those as much.

Remember classic space
" The vehicles in this remind me of the simple ones from my first full size Lego sets. Classic space from 1978 and 1979 are the best my parents found them in a dime store in the very early 80s so I will probably always love those best. This could be the red and white guys from my sets talking but the pink guy just looks so wrong. I am sure there is a joke in the movie to go with him but just no. Benny and his demented grin were bad enough. Lego should take the popularity of this set as a sign and bring back classic space. No one could mistake them for the true old ones because the peg on top of the head is hollow and the chin strap breakage problem has been fixed with much thicker straps. Please bring back our classic space, no face has ever been better on a Lego minifigure than the simple two dots and a curved line. Get this set and remember your childhood, after you find the pink guy a different shelf to live on.

No more skylines please
" I wish they would make these seperate from architecture sets. I want to do Lego architecture for its design details and representations of monuments throughout the world this is like an expressionist painting of several building with as little detail as possible. Plus it seems like they are doing so many of these now to fill time between releases of better architecture sets. I feel like I have to buy them to complete my architecture collection but I don't enjoy them nearly as much as the detailed buildings. Lego should make skyline it's own category for those who wish to have more of these. Also the price is going up and I don't feel like they are good value for the price these days. As far as Paris specifically the buildings were mainly repetitive small pieces but the Eiffel was a nice solid design although the scale compared to the building just doesn't seem quite right, could be me. It's alright but I hope the next architecture set with a full building will come soon.
