Q would be proud!
" Fantastic set, amazing functions and great build techniques, I wish there were less stickers but thats always a gripe with me but overall a stunning set and a must for any James Bond fan. The Lego builders did an amazing job recreating the shape of the car and the hidden features are just perfect especially the ejector seat...Q would be proud to have this baby on the shelf!

My First Technic Set
" My wife got me this set for Christmas, normally she would buy my Lego from the lego.com store but she found this set on Amazon for $169 and she couldn't pass it up! This set would still have been worth it at the full price, technic sets are well named, I'm a mechanic by trade so I find the design of the technic sets very interesting and I take my hat off to the Lego design teams for their skill and imagination, I will definitely be adding lots more Lego sets to my collection in the future!
the crane worked great and was a fun aspect of the build, I haven't tried the alternate plough build yet but I intend to. Great set and I'd highly recommend it! "

Amazing Hunk of Junk!
" My wife got me this set as a combined Birthday/Anniversary/Christmas present, I was unlucky enough not to be able to grab a set when it was initially released but the first time they came back into stock online my wife grabbed one! I have lusted after a UCS Falcon since the original release in 2007 and I can honestly say it was worth the wait! This set is huge and the detail is amazing, the build techniques were challenging and very interesting and once I had finished the build and stood back and admired the finished product I had to keep reminding myself it was Lego, it is simply staggering for the attention to detail and the tweaks the Lego designers have made from the original release are brilliant, I particularly enjoyed building the new turrets and the more rounded look definitely give the finished build a more polished appearance! I have seen a lot of comments around the web criticizing the price tag of this set but speaking as a fan of both Star Wars and Lego it is more than worth it, the packaging is a work of art in itself and the build manual, WOW its a thing of beauty as well, I am almost tempted to leave it out as a coffee table book, I spent the first hour of ownership just reading the first few pages of the history of the Falcon, lovely stuff! If you are lucky enough to own this set then well done and if you're wondering weather to pull the trigger and splurge to get one then just do it, you will not regret it! My one and only complaint with this set is the stickers, I don't mind stickers on cheaper sets but on a set that costs this much they should have printed the parts, i have seen lots of reviews of the old Falcon and all the stickers are peeling off! Hopefully someone will do some custom parts and I will be able to purchase them to replace the stickers but that is just a very small minor gripe. Thank you Lego for a chance to own a truly amazing set!

One Small Step For a Man.....
" Where to begin! I got this set from my wife for Christmas and I set about building it almost as soon as my turkey dinner had digested. I spent the first hour just reading the beautiful instruction book, the Apollo era is my favourite time in American history and to own and build this set was a great experience. I always marvel at the way Lego's master builders design and engineer the sets to recreate details you would have thought impossible from a building brick but they always seem to surprise me with their ingenuity. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding set to build then don't hold back, you're buying a piece of history and a set you will enjoy building over and over again or build it and display it, thats what I did!
