"I've been anticipating the release of this set for months, and the wait was worth it. It looks very smooth and accurate to the real one. The functionality is smooth and the quick release lever underneath is a nice addition but doesn't look that great. It's easy to remove if you want though. The price seems really high but in comparison to other sets it's really not that outrageous. Overall a great buy."
"This set looks tremendous when complete, but the function is hindered by the fact that no matter how hard I tried to maintain good spacing with my gears and axles there was still a lot of friction in the completed model and it requires lots of force to turn the carousel. This also puts a noticeable amount of strain on the motor when connected. In addition to this, the animals often shudder as they move. Overall a great look when stationary but doesn't function as well as I was hoping."
"I purchased this set shortly after buying the Lego City Hospital set 60204. The shaping is fairly plain towards the front, using a canopy piece we've seen many times before, but I like how the back section was built up with an opening hatch. There's enough space to hold the patient on the stretcher laying down, and the medical detail inside is fine. I also like the folding seats that can accommodate more minifigs on the sides. Overall a well done set with fairly basic, but fun play opportunities. Goes well with the Hospital set."
"I was anticipating this set for a while, since we haven't gotten a proper hospital in a long time. I really enjoyed putting it together and the finished product is pretty rewarding. It looks nice on display and has plenty of fun play features. There are, however, a few cons to this set. My main issue is the stickers. I am not opposed to the use of stickers in a set but I really struggled to get the clear-backed ones on right. I don't know if it was just my sticker sheet in particular, but the clear backed stickers were very gooey on the back and it was impossible to peel them off to re-align them without getting big nasty gunk stains on the back of the clear sticker. This detracted from the looks of the x-ray feature because my stickers had sticky goo on the back of them that distorted the projected image. My other con is the cramped space on the inside, but this is understandable given the fact that there's a limited parts budget. At least the decor inside was well done. Overall a really good set but Lego needs to look into fixing this clear sticker issue."
"This set is absolutely phenomenal. It took me about 5 hours to assemble and the completed model has a very commanding presence in any display setting. When building, it's important to pay close attention because subtle mistakes in orientation of the model or an individual part can result in some serious reconstruction. My only main problem with the set is that since the middle and bottom stages are so securely connected, the first time I took them apart the uppermost section took an unexpected launch, landing on the hardwood floor! That strong connection makes it difficult to safely separate the pieces. However I'm not too worried about it and overall I love the set and will continue to admire it for years."
"I got this set for Christmas after a 1 week trip to London this summer, and it is so cool to see my experiences wrapped up in a miniature skyline. The build was fun and the result is definitely displayable. My only complaint is that with a long and narrow base made of thinner pieces, the floor begins to warp a bit and makes the model kinda wobbly. Overall still a great set and a cool gift for my memories in London"
"I got this set as a Christmas present to go with my London collection, and it didn't disappoint. It looks great when fully built and I especially like the tiled front with the fountain and mini vehicles. The build was enjoyable, although to put the building itself together, the front facade required a lot of repeated stacking which got a little dull. Besides that little detail I would definitely recommend the set for any London or monument lover."
"I was highly anticipating the release of this set because I was looking forward to getting a bigger, more heavy heli for my city and also one to take the place of the previous coast guard helicopter from about 4 years ago. In my opinion, this helicopter looks very good on display and looks quite a bit more realistic than other city helicopters, probably because of the wider build and brick built cockpit section (rather than a pre-fabricated canopy piece). This helicopter has a good amount of space inside, only when the jet ski is removed. I decided to keep the jet ski out and instead place a stretcher bed inside, because it seemed a bit more practical to me and made the space a lot more usable. Also, the side doors tend to slide open on their own, but I fix that by pressing the railing piece above them on a bit more tightly. One issue I havent fixed, however, is that the winch system feels a bit stiff and tough to turn. Besides the heli, the side build is fine, and I like the kayak piece. Overall a fun set with a few, mostly fixable quirks."
"This set took me a little over 17 hours spread over 3 days, and the finished result is something I am proud to display. The level of detail in the main central build is very intricate, although it gets a little tedious repeating each module 4 times over. I found it quite difficult to get the outer base layer to come together with all the Technic pins and holes, but once together it holds. The dome is very well sculpted and probably my favorite section of the model. My only complaint is the wobbly design of the four surrounding towers. I'm not worried that they will fall apart, but the minimal amount of parts used leaves them trembling with the slightest movement and makes them look like they're often crooked. Besides this, the model is a sight to behold and I'm very glad I was able to get this after missing out the first time around."
"This build took me a couple days to complete, and left me with fingers hurting, but it was definitely worth it. There is a lot of repetition, especially in the tower, and the facade of the palace section, but it needs to be that way to get such a neat look. As for functionality, the clock hands function is a little jerky, but works well enough for me. Overall I am incredibly satisfied with this set. Plus it looks great next to the Tower Bridge! Another home run from Lego."
