Very disappointing
" This is number five in the "iconic" sculpture series. Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, Tower Bridge - these set the stage - timeless icons.
Sydney Opera House is an eyesore in reality - granted that is a personal opinion - cudos to LEGO they have captured "it" well, "it" looks just like the real thing = ugly.
WHY? Why not re-create another masterpiece in line with the predecessors - a windmill from NL or a castle from Germany (Neuschwanstein perhaps).
… and the majority of LEGO pieces are in this particularly drap tan color,,,
This is going back in the box - I will await the next offering... "

May be the best set yet!
" I can't think of a better set - the only equal is Eiffel Tower - and I would say they are very close.
This is NOT a "playset" it's everything you could want from the advanced LeGo sets - but it isn't designed to be played with!
Repetitive build? (some say) to me it's very relaxing - take your time and enjoy building - it's a one time experience (do you ever build sets more than twice? Is the second time as good as the first?)
I spent about a week or so ENJOYing the build - not rushing for instant gratification - not posting "oh it was good, but my 7 yo completed it in a couple of hours".
Slow down and enjoy - it's really worth it, there are so many interesting techniques (and yes the 550+ little slopes are included there)
The ONLY minuscule negatives are the little vehicles (they are OK on their own - for mini's - but leave them off the bridge!)
GET ONE before they go - it's excellent value and (I think) it hasn't much longer to go before it's OOP "

Another great set
" I shall probably leave a similar review for the whole series -
Without a doubt this is the BEST themed series to date, well perhaps other than the Batman Series 1 (which we missed).
So here we have Batman and the Joker duelling it out again.
My Son has not stopped playing with this for two weeks non stop.
Batman has even defeated Darth Vader too!
I have no grumbles at all - (we'd all like the price to be lower - but hey wait for the sales then!)
All I hope is that this series runs a good few years - we want a whole army of Batman's and Joker's!
How about some Battle packs Lego? "

Brilliant
" enough said?
Well OK - the whole family thinks this series is the best yet - not a single complaint, or disappointment.
From my generation (Adam West as Batman) to my young Son who thinks Batman is "the coolest and best superhero" we thank you LeGo for bringing Batman back... may you profit greatly from this superb series!!
