"I bought this set as soon as it came out as the controls had changed and I was curious to see what Lego had developed. Building the train was quite straight forward but I soon realised no IR unit, just the battery box.
I had downloaded the "Power up" app and this was sitting on my phone. Well what fun i had along with my 26 year old son when we placed the batteries in the box and had the train running around the track controlled by the cellphone.
i now have to save up to buy the cargo train and I think when they come up for sale in the Lego Shop, i will be buying the motor and battery box to convert my other trains to this system. Well done Lego a brilliant step forward!"

Box of Free Bricks
"I purchased a Lego Architecture Set and this was a free gift, take the box to your local Lego Store and fill it with Lego bricks for free. Brilliant thank you Lego!"
"My interest is railways and I wanted to add scenery to the set I am designing and preparing. I started with a small Creator building and was so impressed I decided to buy something bigger and this square was just what I was looking for.
I was not disappointed because this model has it all. It has a pram and mum taking the baby (yes an actual baby) for a walk into town. The cake shop and bakery is full of delicious products and the flower shop beautiful flowers. The thought that has gone into this is amazing and there are scenes to be seen at every level of the three storey build.
There is a music room with a guy on guitar and another on saxaphone, The oven has pastries in which can be popped out ready to be displayed. All in all this is a terrific model with some amazing features and will be a brilliant addition to my railroad. My grandson and I will have a wonderful time playing with the trains and I can certainly say I have had tremendous enjoyment building it. Well done Lego another wonderful product that will last forever!"

A Good Deal for Xmas
"My wife purchased this for me for Xmas 2012 as I wanted it to go with my railway themed Lego. It was the narrow gauge train that caught my imagination and I would like to extend this feature and include it in Lego's standard Gauge. It is not difficult to build and there are a few working parts and pieces in the set. I enjoyed building it and now I need to motorize the train and work it into my Lego Railway layout. I would recommend this for a child of 8 or 9 upwards and think that even at so young an age they would be able to put this together with little difficulty or help from dad or grandad. Another brilliant set from Leg!"

A Really Good Buy
"This took me a few hours to build over two days and in total i reckon it totalled six hours building including putting in power functions! The finished item however stole the show with all who viewed it child and adult alike! I really enjoyed building this and I now need to purchase extra track to really show off this delightful model! Once again Lego has excelled!"
