Outstanding
" Heck, I'm not even a fan of Star Wars. Not that I dislike the theme, but I can take it or leave it. But, this set transcends merely being a Star Wars set. It is the definitive a lego product. I had to have it after I picked up the box in the store and it weighed a ton. Seriously, it's challenging with a huge piece count. A lot of thought went into it and the execution is spectacular. If you have an extra $399 laying around, it's worth every penny.

Great, simply great.....
" Not a big fan of space stuff, but Lego and the designer hit a home run with this one. Very good representation of the actual rover. Wonderful, informative booklet included. More like an architecture series release. Moderately challenging, but not frustrating as far as the build is concerned. Lots of detail.

Forget the stickers and be happy!
" Unless you just have to build the ship as it looks on the box, forget the stickers. Any container ship that I've ever seen had a variety of shipping company containers in a rainbow of colors on its deck. So, I'm not using very many of the small stickers. I'm substituting green, red, blue and other color bricks for some of the gray and white ones to give the shipping containers a more realistic appearance. It will now look more like a real container ship and not simply an advertisement for Maresk
As for the build, well, it's pretty straight forward and without any frustration.
What's not to like about a ship this size? Over 1500 pieces! Nice job, Lego.
Don't worry about the stickers. Just don't use all of them. The ship will look better and more realistic.

" Having been a fan of the Simpsons since day one, gotta say this one really hits the mark. While some may nit pick the color of the house or some of the minifigs, I think that on the whole this certainly looks like a winner for Lego. The Simpsons will be the first family of my Lego modular city.

Not 10181, but.....
" ...its a very nice addition to the architecture series. The 10181 is the large Lego Eiffel Tower that was retired a while back. To me, it is the definitive Lego set. This newest Lego rendition of the Eiffel Tower is a nice, little architecture set. While it doesn't capture the design of the Eiffel Tower like 10181 does, its a lot more budget friendly and fits nicely in with the rest of the architecture series. The build is creative but not that challenging. If you pay attention, you wont have any problems with the stability of the towers lower level.
I had serious doubts about this set before I built it. I was prepared to offer one of my sarcastic reviews. But, the actual build resulted in me having a much more positive attitude towards this product. I've seen the Eiffel Tower in person more than once. While the color of the set is a bit off, the final result is a nice, fun representation of the actual structure. "

Disappointing
" The entire appearance of this set makes appear as if it should be the center piece of the Lego 'Friends" line of products. The colors on the building certainly aren't appealing. The white part of the building looks like something you would see on an America strip mall in suburban Houston and is in stark contrast to the wonderful olive green color bricks. Too much attention was given by the designer to the interior and the minifigs. The emphasis should have been on the building, not on the interior. This is not the modular interior design series. The top floor is some sort of artists studio and appears like one of the rehab eligible projects that you would see on one of the home improvement TV shows. If I owned this building, I certainly would not love it. I would list it.
The most disappointing offering in the modular building series. In my Lego room, it will definitely be on the side of the table that faces the wall.

" One of the better architecture series sets. Creative use of parts (such as the flag poles). Nice selection of the translucent blue color bricks. Very representative of the actual building. Like most sets in this series, its a fast, easy build. Makes for a nice display piece with other architecture series sets.

Great build
" This was my first technic set. I discovered this is a lot different than clicking bricks together for a modular building. Much different. I found the build to be very challenging. The thought that Lego put into this is incredible. The instructions are clear and unambiguous. The play function is great as there are so many motorized parts/functions on this set. If you have a child who's a future MIT or Georgia Tech student, this would be a great challenge for them.
