"It is what it is, a simplified version of a modular. An honest product and an entertaining build. Maybe a good starter set for someone interested in moving up to the modular line. Nice detail, great idea to have a bike shop."
"Let's address the stickers first. Yep, printed pieces would have been nice. But, I didn't have any trouble with the stickers. They were very user friendly. And, an extra set was included with my set. Don't know if that's normal, but it was appreciated.
Very detailed build that remains true to the theme. Nice display piece."
"Another winner in this series. When evaluating this, you should take into account how it integrates into the entire winter village series. I was late getting started with this series and had to pay high after market prices for some of the village sets. Don't make that mistake! Buy this one and get started. Winter village sets offer a combination of a great seasonal theme, interesting building techniques and relevant mini figures. I think the winter village sets may be the most fun of any lego product."
"Please, read the product's description! This is an excellent product for team building at adult corporate events. I've used Lego in this context, and it works!"
"This is not your typical lego set. It's not here for the entertainment of children. I've used similar lego components/bricks in business meetings with peers and my direct reports. It's an exercise in business team building. The use of lego creates a more relaxed atmosphere where people are more likely to express their thoughts and ideas. Sometimes in business feeling like a kid again can really knock down some barriers and enhance the creative thought process. And this lego product certainly helps do that."
"True, there isn't a centerpiece building. But, this set makes an excellent addition to the previous sets in this series. Fun build, great playability and nice design. This set nicely supplements previous sets in this series and helps give added texture and detail to the series as a whole."
"I think they bit off more than they could chew in trying to get a representative Lego model of Trevi Fountain. I've been there and seen it in person. The Lego product lacks the necessary detail. Lots of frustratingly small pieces but, still, detail is lacking. For those collecting the architecture/landmark series, there are better Lego offerings. Not bad, not 'awesome'.......... just so-so."
"Very nice detail with some challenging parts of the build. Great color and stickers are worth the effort as they give the plane a very authentic look."
"Come on, Lego. This was a great idea. And while it's a 'mini', it's simply too small. The VW beetle was over 1,600 pieces and it's a very impressive model. This mini is too mini leading to a mini about of satisfaction. On a larger scale, this could have been a definitive lego product. As it stands, it's just too mini. I will gladly pay a lot more for a product that's larger.
Please don't go down the road of so many consumer products where, to keep the cost down, you diminish the quality of the product, the size of the product, or both."
