Best.Set.Ever
" This is the biggest set I bought so far and mainly focused on the coaster itself. The set needs more mini figures and maybe more props in under and between the tracks but it'll become more expensive. The set it really heavy once built but can be carried from one place to another and won't fall apart if you're not clumsy.
I bought the power functions separately and it works like a charm. No need to crank it anymore and just watch the coaster roll around. I can even connect all 6 carts and they still run good. Tried to connect 3 more from the pirate roller coaster set but they can't run anymore because of the sheer weight though.
The set had two missing parts and asked for a replacement but as of today, I have no confirmation it they will be shipped. The set still works without them but I still want it as complete as it can be because of its price.
This set deserves the 5 stars and maybe even more just for the pure fun I had in the three afterwork nights I sneaked in to build it and the dream of having a true Lego roller coaster set has finally become a reality.

Totally worth it
" This set is totally worth the money because not only it has three builds, the main build is a roller coaster. I never expected it to take that much area and turned out bigger than expected.
Why four stars? The build can be flimsy especially when I tried to attach the orange octopus on the pillar. You also need to push a bit from the skull head so that the cars don't stop before going to the dip. I also wish the alternate builds used up more bricks. There's also one brick that was warped (see picture).

Dwarfs all other mechs
" This set is so huge, even Cole's Quake mech became a dwarf.
Why 4 stars? No minifigures, the partsforming, and limited articulation.
The legs may fall off if not lifted properly.
I hope they design a mech of this size that's fully poseable.
Kudos to the designer of this great set! "

Ship Ahoy!
" Totally worth the money spent for over 2000 pieces.
The whole Ninjago movie team's there with their weapons and THE weapon.
Tons of interior decorating. Loved the bed and it even has a toilet.
My only gripe? The sails don't rotate. I did minor adjustments and it's now perfect. Just see the picture attached for the modification I made. "

Less one star because..
" Like the other reviews, the downside is Misako's face. It's a but greenish, instead of the usual yellow. The back of the mech also looks plain.
The wheel's twice the size of what I expected. The "legs" are fixed and can't be bent. Lots of things can be moved for this set. The shoulder can be rotated and bent upward. The arms can be rotated and bent. No wrist to spin around. 4 fingers for the hands where you can connect studs inside so the minifigures don't fall off. There's Cole's cockpit with spinning LPs for his control. And of course it has lots of speakers. The shoulders open up to fire 4 of them on each side.
Overall, it's a great set. So far I have the Water Strider and The huge Ninjago City. Having them makes me want to complete all their vehicles so maybe I will when the time comes.
