"Great set, whilst watching the film hoped Lego would make a version of this hauler ( and the conveyex!), as it plays quite a part in the heist section of the film. Sturdy when built, continues the bulky industrial look of the imperial vehicles in the movie.love the arms that swing down to pick up freight and there’s space for figures too. Very impressive all in all. The mini figures are great, Qi’ra is wearing a different outfit to other versions in the Hans speeder and new millennium falcon sets, Val has some very nice printing on torso and legs. Rio Durant, wow! Great printing and headpiece, plus his four arms, definitely a fave of mine. Then you get two ‘Drydens guards’, Decent headpieces and printing, One has a scar on his lip and snarling expression and is actually called aemon Gremm in the Solo book and database-sneaky Lego, he’s going to be so collectible! All in all a very nice set especially when paired with the conveyex and Beckett figure from the cloud riders set.."
"Set replicating one of the great fight scenes and surprises from the last Jedi film. This set gives you a basic rendition of snokes throne room but also space to expand and embellish with further bricks. The five minifigures are cool, Rey is wearing a different outfit to previous sets island training and encounter on jakku. Kylo ren is the same as the one in the micro fighter set. Snoke is ok though wish he look slightly more ‘other-wordly’ . The two praetorian guards are great though wish there were four! These two can have differing weapons and the headgear and shoulder armour are lovely. All in all a good set giving a good foundation to add to and make your own."
"Magical set emulating some of the magic and whimsy of the film and J.K Rowlings imagination. Easy to build, ingeniously replicates the world within newts suitcase which acts as a sanctuary for the fantastic beasts. Included in the set are four beasts; Three you build plus one tiny one. All are impressive as are the four mini figures, newt definitely looks like newt and the character Jacob Kowalski has head gear you can change in place of his hair. All in all a set with charm and whimsy."
"Great set featuring aqua man, staying faithful to the upcoming film about him. The set is easy to build, the black underwater craft built to resemble a manta Ray is surprisingly sturdy and fits the antagonist black manta. The three figures are great, Aquaman is printed with a different costume to the Atlantis set one, Mera is printed nicely and has the ‘red’ hair as seen in the film trailers. The villain black manta is nicely put together and looks faithful to other images seen of him. Also included in the set are an underwater plant and shark, which can be placed on top of the plant to look as if swimming. All in all a good set for the price."
"I normally only collect marvel or Star Wars Lego, however having already bought the Jurassic World Owen and blue brickheadz, I saw a preview of the new sets coming soon and was drawn to this set. It doesn’t disappoint! They look great together, instantly recognisable and nice touches are the school badge on Harry and feathers printed on Hedwig the owl. Great value and can see why they sell out of this set so quick! Get it when you see it, don’t dither about it!"
"Great rendition of the TIE fighter from the Solo movie, personally my first TIE fighter in Lego form too. Whilst building the wings can be repetitive, as generally most spacecraft are, the body was interesting to build and like the easy access for the pilot. Once built the fighter itself is solidly put together and sturdy! The four figures are all fine, love the new stormtrooper with the same printed detailing on his cape as Hans, bearing in mind Han is in army uniform too. Definitely the four figures remind you of the grimy mud ridden planet they’re stationed on. Looks great on display, Great set in all, can’t wait for the next wave of Solo movie sets too!"
"A great new addition to the Star Wars themed ones of this range, easy to build, well thought out design and what’s not to love about the iconic Star wars stormtrooper! Probably one of the better ones in the range, looks-wise."
"Fab set well worth the money, Recreates the emperor turning a disfigured anakin into Darth Vader. Includes excellent swivel feature to bed so you can swap the anakin figure for the fully transformed Vader. The three mini figures are excellent as is the large droid with multiple arms and surgical tools. Interesting to build without being mundane and looks great, often these smaller sets are overlooked in favour of flashier ships but all play a part in the woven universe that is Star Wars and the printing and details are just getting more intricate all the time. A definite little gem this set!"
"This set is brilliant for those who missed the previous sets containing ant-man. It includes the mini figures ant-man, the wasp and villain ‘ghost’, all have excellent printing on them and particularly like ant-mans almost ‘smirk’, the wasps face and ghosts two very different faces. Have to say, quite possibly very high up there for me in terms of how identifiable they are, which can sometimes be a bit generic with some sets issued.. The exploration craft is interesting to put together and when you consider the price of the set-£20, is excellent value especially when coupled with the three figures! Dare I say, this set outshone some of the more recent and expensive marvel sets out recently! I certainly wouldn’t want to miss this set if you don’t have it already and are into the marvel side."
"Having ignored this set, mainly because I mostly collect the newer Star Wars films Lego, I took a closer look at this set and decided to buy-has to be said, for the young boba fett, jango fett and obi-wan figures. They’re nicely detailed and love the scowling expression which highly resembles the young boba in the films! Whilst the build of the craft is enjoyable, the hyperdrive ring is somewhat repetitive but that’s to be expected. What you get at the end is a very impressive set which can stand up and is not flimsy at all. It’s an excellent display piece worth the money. It’s now one of my fave sets, wish I’d bought it sooner!"
