Impressive play set
" For the price it is you do get a real nice collection of(exclusive) minifigures.
Of all lego sets i have seen about rogue one, i think this is the best that is out there.
The looks of this aircraft and the figures are great, it has quite some play features and even then the end result...looking at it i can just envision the actual craft from the movies soaring trough the sky or taking off.
Sure the boarding ramp leads to nowhere, but almost all figures can be seated if you really want that, you can nicely display the interior, the back of the craft has more detail then i anticipated and i just can not see how they could have made it better at such a scale.
Maybe hide up the projectiles on the wings a bit more, but even then, that would have gone at the cost of the overall price, wing weight and maybe even the robustness of the craft.
Further, though the build itself is not hard, it is just a lot of fun to do. "

Way more solid then i thought it would be
" Though the build is a tad boring and mid build all seems quite flimsy, this is quite the iconic solid statue.
There are no play features, except for the hatch that can move and just the fact that once finished, one can almost trow it around without it losing parts.
Unless you push it, this thing just will not break.
Also the build is simply a tad boring because of the overall design...most of the work done is on the wings and you pretty much have to repeat yourself, but that is simply something that you can not have any other way....and besides the repetition in that regard, there are actually quite some surprises here and there, especially the attaching of the wings to the cockpit part is honestly quite satisfying
For what this tries to be, which is being a well detailed decoration piece made of lego, it simply does the job perfect. "

Kinda dissapointing
" If we consider this being an improvement over the older model, i honestly have quite some issues with this one.
This overall t is pretty much just a revamp with barely any improvements, with slight issues being:
-Areas in general are not enough detailed for a (UCS) build those days, almost all rooms need way more wall decoration, ground decoration and play features.
-This main elevator is just way to tiny, so is the prison cell...you can not just play around well in those areas unless you have tiny hands, why was the size overall of the build not increased ?
Same issue with the overall basement level.
-What is the deal with the overall secondary elevator ? the result is overall not that great to be honest.
Overall i feel this is a great deal if you want to have this as a play set for children who will be less picky about the overall results and have smaller hands to reach in how and wherever they want, since in the end the amount of minifigures and play features is plenty while it is a solid build(only thing that makes me worry are those thin strains of wire that hold both elevator), it is probably also a good investment i guess...but for this being a recent USC build and a revamp of an older one, there could have been done so much more to improve upon the older model.
As decoration piece it kinda fails because it has no stand and there is no true exterior side, only interior and the interior, while having plenty of play features, is visually simply not that pleasing.
As play set for people that are not smaller kids it fails because some interiors are just to tiny.
Further the build itself is not per se challenging or boring...it was a fun way to pass time, but looking at it in the end i would probably never want to do this again.
And if it was not for some exclusive features and figures and there is still some majesty to be found in it when presented, i probably would already be planning to sell this thing in 5 years when the value will go up, so in the end, except for a few specific targets i would advice anyone else to do something else with their money that is not buying this particular set.
As soon as this gets an other revamp that has some exterior plates and bigger interiors(probably all at the cost of an increase in price, which i would not mind) and is actually worth it to be considered to be called an improvement, i would be buying it instantly though. "

Great building experience and result
" This being the first UCS set i ever bought it was everything i expected and more.
The build was interesting and quite challenging, yet the 2 times i made a mistake it was relatively easy to fix.
Pretty solid build for such a huge model with plates attached to the main build everywhere.
Has quite some play features too, that big cockpit window is impressive to behold.
Love how every side has detail.
The stand is really a great idea, once on it really is nice to behold.
Few nitpicks to note as to why it is not perfect(nothing is perfect):
In the end i feel the window piece leaves to much open space at the front were it is not detached.
I feel that could have been done somewhat different.
the stand is a bit wobbly and once you put it on the stand you better make sure it is on it well and you better make sure that when shoving the stand with the build presented on it in the right location, you do it careful as to not have the build slide away and drop.
I really hate the concept of stickers and rather have prints, even if the cost would go up thanks to that.
Overall though, thanks to the looks of the build, the solid nature, way how it presents itself, the, entertaining build and the fact that it is on minifigure scale(we should get more star wars builds like that in my opinion) i would advice anyone with doubts about this to just go ahead and buy it, it is near perfection in almost any way.
