"I bought this set becuase I tend to like playset/locations more than vechiles, and really wanted the Engineer Steve figure.
There is a reason it is difficult to find photos of the back of the set. It is flat and boring. There aren’t even any attachment points to build out and make it better.
While I’m disapointed with the lack of real estate to pose figures, the set is great price for the size. Also, Engineer Steve does not disapoint."
"I love the narrow eye print 1x1 white round tiles.
I'm disappointed that there are four right handed 27° degree wedge plates, used as the blades in the windmill on the box art, but no left handed plates to compliment them."
"I didn't enjoy building this set, and found it to be tedious and repetitive. Halfway through the build I pushed it aside and ignored it for a few weeks because I just didn't like putting it together.
Now I don't like it enough to keep it, and am dreading taking it all apart.
This might be a good gift for someone who genuinely enjoys playing chess, but I would pick another gift/set for a builder."
"I love the styling and function of this set. I'm thankful for all the colorful parts and a minimum of black parts.
I love the pouty techno vampire protagonists, their armor, and the new technospider with stud pieces.
I had difficult time figuring out some of the instructions, which is unusual for me.
I don't much care for the mini-vechicle that launches from the belly of the tank, and I've enjoyed designing and building other contraptions to fill the space that are more to my liking."
"This was and interesting and fun build with plenty of great parts. I love the clever studs up/studs down build of the cab using SNOT plates on the sides to connect the top and bottom half.
I love that the designers choose gray treads rather than black and seemed to avoid black bricks where they could.
I would have liked a built on place to clip Zane's bow and quiver since neither fit well in the cab with him.
The designs and artwork on the stickers are very well done, but I hate putting the stickers on, and they never age nor wear well."
"The momemt I saw the Lady Iron Dragon armor in The Lego Ninjago Movie, I wanted the armor. I was excited to get the oppertunity with this set, and enjoyed the fun rickshaw and piranha mech builds.
Unfortunately, the yellow on black face print on the Lady Iron Dragon minifigure is semitransparent and has a greeninsh cast. It is not the usual top-notch quality I have cone to expect from The Lego Company."

"I enjoyed building this set, but found it doesn't have nearly as much detail as many of the other modular building sets, and looks plain by comparison when it sits side-by-side with other modular buildings."
