"I love the goblin figures, and I'm embarrassed to admit I bought this set for the Jimblin the Goblin, Blubeary and Lil’ Blu figures.
There is nothing special about this dragon build to distinguish it from all the other Elves and Ninjago dragons, and I immediately disassembled it and gave the dragon parts to a friend that likes that sort of thing."
"I had a great time putting this set together. For me, this set is less of a toy and more of a model. It looks great and has many moving parts/features, but has many bits that pop off easily when handled un-gently. Even broken down into the four components, the tank and batmobile don't steer/handle well. There are also seem like very few places to grab onto them to roll them around.
I spent an additional half hour or so rebuilding Robin's hover motorcycle in a red/green/yellow palette that suits him.
Thank you for finally producing the Flying Monkey figures as seen in LEGO Dimensions. I love them. ...and also Polka Dot man and chauffeur/kato Alfred.
While I loved building the batsignal and all the clever brickwork/design in the build, something is off with the projected image. The bat is nowhere near centered in the circle of light, and it seems no amount of tinkering and rebuilding can fix that. I suspect the bat logo was not printed properly onto the clear hemisphere element.
The set relies heavily on stickers. I particularly disliked applying the round hubcap stickers. The stickers are not easy/fun to apply, and they NEVER age/wear well."
"I initially resisted buying this set because LEGO has produced SO many black batmobiles, and I wasn't excited about having another.
When I saw in on sale, I bought it anyway and was happily surprised how wrong I was. The Speedwagon is cleverly designed, really fun to build, kinda fun to play with in its own right, and chock full of great parts.
Even after the initial build, I've spent a couple hours updating and modifying it. There are many exposed studs and bars on the base model just asking for additional parts and building."
"Unless you must have the Bane big-fig, I'd suggest choosing another set.
I verymuch like the Bane big-fig and the Bane Bear graphic on the flag sticker.
Pretty much everything else about the set is uninspired. The bane juice popper silo machine nests nicely onto the back of the larger vehicle, but it cuts awkwardly into the space meant for Bane to stand so they can't both be on the truck at the same time.
I didn't find anything particularly interesting about the build, and didn't much care for the truck once built. It didn't even last a day before I scrapped it for parts and moved on.
If you have to choose, I would recommend spending $10 more for the speedwagon Batmobile, which was an amazingly fun build, has better parts, and is more fun to play with."
"After loving the A-Team adventure would, I was expecting the Knight Rider world to be just as great. Unfortunately, it is kinda boring and convoluted. The graphics are also oddly dark and sepia toned in a way that I never remember the show being.
I enjoyed rebuilding KITT into his three iterations. All three are well done.
I had to go online to look up Michael Knights abilities because they aren't obvious. Technology panels are the only things I can confirm he interacts with."
"Overall, I enjoyed playing through the levels of this story pack, and am having fun collecting gold bricks in the Adventure world. Tt did a clever job of designing levels that are more companion to the movies and less copying the movie.
I think it is tacky that you have to fight multiple copies of respawing Aaron Cash to get through the Arkham level. I'm so glad Cash is part of The Batman Movie franchise, and he deserves more respect than that.
The game crashed three times in the hours of play it took to get through the six levels, and there was a glitch in the Kraken boss fight where the bomb was destroyed by the Kraken's breath weapon and would never respawn, so I had to restart the battle.
The adventure world also seem glitched in that when I played there before I finished the story levels there we disimbodied voices and content that seemed partially there, but I couldn't interact with. I tried to capture the red brick, but only got studs. Now that I've completed the story, I can't find the red brick again.
Also note that I lost all progress on Ghostbusters 2016 levels, Fantastic Beasts levels, Ghostbusters 2016 adventure world, Fantistic Beasts adventure world, ET adventure world, and I think pretty much all content that got an update on February 10. I kept my stud balance and red bricks, but progress and gold bricks I had earned were wiped out when the content was updated."
"I bought this set for the Scarecrow figure and because I love the way 70900 The Joker™ Balloon Escape and 70901 Mr. Freeze™ Ice Attack connect together and wanted to add this set to complete the trifecta.
First, I learned that the set is a WalMart exclusive and not sold at The LEGO Store. I would like LEGO.com and shop.LEGO.com to be more upfront about exclusives and product availability so customers know where to find the toys.
Although the backdrop for three sets click together, this set doesn't have the nifty industrial design of the other two, and is kinda boring. Also, they will only click together in one order/configuration.
Unfortunately, the Scarecrow in this set is disguised as a pizza guy and barely recognizable.
I should have waited for the Summer sets that include 70913 "Scarecrow Fearful Face-off," which has a great Scarecrow figure, better vehicle, an industrial gadget, and a lower price."
"I love the new around the neck bowtie and collar pieces on the minifigs.
I would expect the Batcave to be more functional, efficient, and slick. There are big chunky parts, like the batarang holders, that take up plenty of space but don't do much to add to the playablilty.
I would have liked to see the bat computer on transparent light blue tiles with transparent stickers.
The holding cell with bust out back is cliché. The twirl this axle to transform Bruce Wayne to Batman has also been done many times in other LEGO sets.
I love the idea behind the conveyor belt wardrobe. I spent more than an hour enlarging it and motorizing it before incorporating/combining the best parts of this Batcave with the 2012 LEGO 6860 Batcave. For me, almost all the play value in this set was in the rebuilding, and not in the original design."
