"If you like collecting minifigures these are a great way to do so, I have purchased all from both sets.
Cons- I don’t think a third wave is coming, but I have my fingers crossed. If you buy a ton of Lego Batman Movie, like me, you will be able to acquire almost all the characters from the movie and that’s great but still missing from the Justive league Anniversary Party are Samurai and Gleek, and if you want Green Lantern, Flash, Wonder Women or Hawkman you need to buy non Lego bagman sets. I will be very sad if Sumatra and Gleek don’t become available through something, and I’m annoyed i have to invest outside of Lego Batman for the others.
Pros- So many cool villains are available, and minifigures are awesome!
Overall- Squeeze bags and find Holly ho you are looking for, minifigures are awesome!"
Cons- There are not many cons to list but I’ll try, nothing is perfect so... Batman is very bland, he doesn’t have a vehicle or anything cool, just a little grappling hook that i’m pretty sure I already got in a different set.
There are other sets available for comparable prices with more mini-figures, or cheaper with the same number. I’m happy though and I’ll explain why.
Egghead and Condiment King are two of the most ridiculous Batman villains and I was so excited to get both in one set. Batman is lame, as I mentioned, but that is a third Minifigures so that’s cool I guess.
The Eggwalked shoots egg disks and it actually work well so that’s awesome, the whole mech is fun to play with and seems to stay together so that’s awesome.
Overall- this set is well worth the value, it’s a great addition to a collection and an equally great starting place."
The net doesn't really want to stay in the cannon, that feels nit picky but I don't like leavings the Cons empty.
Pros: The Scuttler is awesome: it's legs move, it's head moves, it's cannon moves, it's sturdy, it's fun to play with, it looks cool.
The minifigures are great. I was excited to get both past and present Commissioner Gordon's. Ivy and her vines is very cool. Richard "Dick" Grayson is such a great character and I'm so glad to have him. I already have a Joker, but I turned this ones head a different direction so he has a different face. Batman is also there, I have about 20 of him but it definitely makes sense to be in this set.
Overall: I usually check the box "Who did you purhcase this for?" and write my daughter, or occasionally my son. I bought this set, and the Bat-Cave for me. Both sets are good, this set is the better of the two. No regrets.
"One of my favourite characters from the Lego Batman Movie and my least favourite set so far.
Cons: Bane's legs don't move. This seems to be the case with all of teh over-sized minifigures and it irritates me. His arms move and that's about it.
Only two minifigures adn the over-sized Bane. Bane's little bald buddy is not the coolest addition to a minifigure collection, and almost every set has Batman so you really aren't getting much for the price tag.
Batman's little copter is cool but it doesn't want to stay together. We've mostly used the copter alongside the Scare-crow copter we got in the other set. It doesn't feel like it really belongs here.
Bane's vehicle is fairly lazy in design. The Two-Face truck or Killer Croc truck are both more interesting. The have asymmetrical designs even for the stickers. Bane's stickers are all the same and it just feels lazy to me.
The exploding thing fits on the truck, but only if Bane isn't on.
Pros: Doug Benson's Bane is hilarious so I was excited to get Bane. I like that he's oversized, I just wish it did a little more.
As I previously said, Batman's copter is pretty cool, it just doesn't stay together as well as I'd like.
There is a little tank thing that sort of blows up and that's cool. It fits nice on the truck (unless Bane is on the truck, then it doesn't fit)
I'm digging for positives a bit but I will say that the bullets for Bane's big gun are also pretty cool. They are more interesting then the bullets that usually come with guns for vehicles.
Overall: It's a must buy if you feel the same way about Bane that I do. If you don't feel the same way I would start a Lego Batman Collection with one of the other available trucks."
Cons: The little Bat-Sea-Doo is pretty lame, I guess Batman needed something, but it's definately not a real fair match.
Killer Croc doesn't walk, his legs don't move at all. (More on this later)
For the price, 3 mini-figures and an oversized mini-figure doesn't seem like a great deal.
Pros: Killer Crocs claw fingers move, which is cool, and his mouth opens and shuts and that's cool too. In general I really like the oversized mini-figures found in some sets now but it does bug me there legs don't move at all.
The truck is very cool, the "wear pattern" and different shading in areas makes it pretty interesting and it has pseudo-shocks which is pretty neat as well.
Overall: I'm pretty sure I'll buy everything in the Batman Lego set but this wouldn't be my top choice. If the price was equal this set would be far better then Bane's but the price isn't equal. I feel both sets are a little overpriced."
