Punch Bug Preview
" I recently purchased this VW Bug and I was excited to compare the build and experience to that of the Mini Cooper. It is very interesting to see how LEGO can create a very rounded vehicle with square bricks. There are a few times where the instruction book is not 100% clear because the angle of the part is not optimal and a few mistakes can be made.
I do like the interior details and the exterior detail of the engine. I would recommend this set to those collectors who like the larger, detailed sets and any lover of VW vehicles. "

" After completing our 1st visit to the Legoland Discovery Center, my 9 YO daughter promptly found this Lego set and begged me to get it for her. Since she is a big fan of the "Friends" themed set, I knew this would provide hours of playing time for her. And I am happy to report I was correct. While I can agree that the roller coaster carts are a little challenging to put back onto the track, I think it is a great tool to teach my daughter patience, and precision or something will not function properly! I do find it rather difficult that the "Spinner" ride has to be spun back up the pole too which tends to pull away from play time. It is great to watch the cart drop, but a slightly tedious process to spin the cart back up to the top again.
Truly genius the way Lego utilized a light up brick on the roller coaster to only light up when a Friends figure is properly inserted into the front cart!
Needless to say, this set has captured the attention and fascination of my daughter and now is begging me for the Fairground Mixer (10244) and the Ferris Wheel (10247) and the Hot Dog Van (41129). "

" Purchased this set for my 5 YO son. Very nicely detailed. Well thought out and wonderful that the table, chairs, skateboard, and luggage can be stored on the RV so as to prevent losing them after playtime. My sons loves "setting up camp" and the fabric awning is a very nice touch. After building this set for him, I am kinda jealous that LEGO does not make a 3000-4000 piece Class A motor home for us adults. The VW bus is great, but I am talking about a modern class A rig with 2-3 slide outs. The slide out idea on this set is just brilliant! Kudos to your Master Builders for taking the time to make the modern RV similar to our real motorhome!!! "
