Wrong color
" I drove a half hour to the Lego store today to purchase more baseplates. I was extremely disappointed to find that these "classic" green baseplates are a different color. This bright green is not suitable for making grass landscapes at all. It doesn't match the foliage, so I can no longer use flower bases to make tall grass. There was no need to change the color. These don't match the rest of my displays, or our Lego table. Even my two daughters (4 and 6) declared them the wrong color. I have some smaller base plates in this color that came with my kids' Lego Friends sets, and they really do not match everything else. Bring back the old color, please! "

Hours of fun
" When the Lego Friends line came out my two daughters were ecstatic. They are 2 and 3 1/2. This is the first Lego set my eldest ever received, and she and her sister have had hours of fun with it. They love horses, and they love setting up jumps and races. I do have a couple gripes though. This is NOT a sturdy set for play. After rebuilding it the fifth time after it had been smashed in the course of light, supervised, play I ended up super gluing it together. While my girls are technically "too young", they are quite careful. Even I have accidentally broken the stable walls in the course of play. The jumps and bench for spectators are ridiculous, you can not actually play with them without them breaking. This is quite frustrating for my girls. Also annoying about this line is that, unlike regular minifigs, the girls' bottoms don't snap to Lego bricks. This makes it hard for them to ride vehicles, sit in chairs, etc.
Overall, I am satisfied with this set, and my kids do love it. But have the glue ready if your kids (or you) actually want to play with it, "
