Chunkier than expected
" I started with the bird and rapidly cycle through all 3 builds on the first go to see what they were like. They are so much more solid than they appear in pictures. These are great playable figures. Going to invest in a couple more sets so we can keep all three on the go at once. The inclusion of the light brick really adds to the futuristic mechanoid feel and the colour scheme is fresh and chic. Love them.
Also giving as birthday gifts to my kids friends.

3 great rides in 1
" I'm not a big fan of the bright yellow brick which have featured in a lot of city and creative builds recently. Especially matched with white, grey, beige and brown. Aside from that colour critique i really enjoyed building and rebuilding all 3 of these fairground rides. We've done all 3 at least twice and the kids are able to play with them for a reasonably long time before something comes apart. There's a lot of nice aesthetic touches like the octopus and skull motifs, little parrots that you make yourself and the ticket entry turnstiles. The figures can either be smiling or grimacing/screaming with a rotation of the head. The second and third build use less than half of the bricks so there's plenty to be creative with which is the feature my kids prefer. It's a good build for the whole family to enjoy

Favourite purchase
" I fell in love with this set as soon as i saw it. I love the colour combination, the different levels, the higgledyness of the walls and roof, the jagged rocks. When it arrived it was even greater than expected. There's so much detailing, inside and out and the accessories that come with - lobsters (on ice), harpoons, fishing rods, scuba gear, nets, tackle boxes. There's so much to play with. The aesthetic is perfect (down to the two tone waders and Aran jumper on the fishing Captain), the build is great fun, the parts are accessible for play with hinged walls and lift off towers/roofs. Nothing disappoints. Thank you Lego for making this submission a reality. More like this!

Female driver a bonus
" These are superbly detailed and accurate for the very low price and get loads of play value from them. I appreciate the detail, my kids love to play with them. And bonus points to Lego for putting in a female racing driver. That shouldn't be so exciting but given other toy lines lack of representation in anything but stereotyped times, it really is. The Speed series is rapidly becoming a favourite.

" Campervan is a fun build with lots of nice detail features like a slide out bedroom, back which opens fully to each side, bbq set, folding chairs and table. These become a little same-y when making the house and i can't see ever building the yacht again. It uses too few of the whole set pieces and has few playable features. The bear is a cute extra and favourite with intended recipient.
