"The main draw of this set is obviously the minifigures. Four bounty hunters are included in this set, including a character never introduced to LEGO before! I have Bossk from the Slave 1 set released in 2010, and viewing the figures side-by-side is night and day. The detailing on the new Bossk is very intricate and the coloring of his head is more in line with his appearance in the EP5. The new Dengar figure is also very good with a cool head piece. The new IG-88 minifigure looks more akin to his movie appearance. 4-LOM is the newest bounty hunter to be realized in LEGO form and he does not disappoint. He features a unique head mold and detailed printing on the torso and legs. I definitely recommend this set to any star wars fan."
"This is one of my favorite LEGO battle packs. I bought this along with the Sandcrawler and was very happy with my purchase. The Jawas are cool because they aren't in a ton of sets, and it comes with a new astromech droid too. The Tusken Raider is really cool I like the new mold LEGO has made for his head. This is a great battle pack and perfect to pair with the Sandcrawler."
"The first thing I have to say is that this set is fantastic. I got the original incarnation of this set when it released in 2005 and needless to say, this set blows it out of the water. This is one of the best scenes in the trilogy and LEGO really does it justice with this set. The build is pretty rudimentary with some cool play features built in. First, there is the mechanism to rotate the table Anakin is on to transform him into Vader. Then, there are little mechanisms to pop off the other things around the table. And my favorite feature, the mechanism to lower the helmet onto Vader. The set looks nice and is a good diorama of this specific scene. Now the minifigure selection is where this set really shines. You get burned Anakin who has great detailing, especially on the torso. There is Emperor Palpatine, who looks great and can be hard to find. You get Darth Vader with the new two-part helmet design which looks great and I think I actually prefer it over the old Vader. A medical droid is also included who is a pretty cool little build. This set is a no-brainer, especially at its awesome price point. The minifigures were the main selling point for me, but the set as a whole is really fun. With this set, LEGO really shows why they're the best toy company around."
"First off, the price point for this set I think is a little much. This ship was probably my favorite ship introduced in the sequel trilogy and I knew I had to get it in LEGO form, but I held off for a sale and I think am much happier with my purchase because of it. I really do like the product; however, the ship comes together very nicely and has some cool building techniques with the wings. The end product with this build is very cool. The design is sleek and looks just like the movie version. The transparent red pieces look really great. I was also happy with the minifigure selection. This was the first set I got with Kylo Ren in it and he is a very cool figure, I especially like the print on his torso. Unfortunately, the set did not come with his helmet. Though the helmet is not in this scene, it would be nice considering the non-discounted price point of the set. The pilot is pretty cool, I really like his helmet. The bad guy BB8 droid is also a nice addition to the set. I don't really know what the stormtrooper was added to the set for, but it's a neat little addition although it does just bring the price up even more. I like this set and do recommend it, but only on the condition that you find it discounted because the price to part ratio on this set is kinda outrageous. If you can't find it on sale, the main reason to buy this set is if you're like me and really loved this vehicle in the movie, or you're on the lookout for the hard to find minifigures like the (unique?) pilot or bad guy BB8."
"I'm so glad LEGO decided to make a somewhat less pricey Sandcrawler. Prior to this, the only way to get a Sandcrawler was to get the UCS one which is just too pricey for a lot of people, me included. I picked this set up and it was a fun build with only a few tedious parts in the building process (namely the treads), and the end product looks great. The vehicle is also pretty sturdy and incorporates some creative building techniques. I really liked the selection of minifigures as well. I don't know why it has taken me so long to get Tatooine Luke, but I finally got him in this set. The Jawas are cool to get too because they aren't particularly in a lot of sets. With the droids, I wish maybe for the price point that C3PO and R2D2 would also be included, but they exist in a lot of sets already so aren't too hard too come by. However, a new astromech droid is included in this set so that's pretty cool. All in all, I'm very happy with this set and happy with the fact that LEGO thought to release a non-UCS Sandcrawler for those of us not interested in spending quite so much."
