"This is an inexpensive, fun set that inspires creativity. This is exactly the kind of set Lego should be more focused on in the market to children. New elements are present, mainly the kayak piece, with other cool pieces like the life jacket appearing as well. Very good value."
"I have always liked Lego trains and track. If you are reading this Lego PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER MONORAIL SYSTEM! PLEASE!! However back to the point. These switches are great, work well, and are a must for any train layout, especially a train yard. I appreciate the inclusion of extra curved track, but the price to me feels a bit steep for six pieces of track. Given there are no metal parts too I think these could be a bit cheaper, even if that means sacrificing the extra curved track for a cheaper price tag. However that aside these are great tracks that work very well. Keep up the trains Lego!"
"I have been a fan of the "arctic" sub-themes for years now. When this new wave of sets was released, I was very excited. However upon being disappointed for the most part with the largest set, 60195, because of poor pricing and play experience, I decided to check out this set as a substitute, and that was definitely a good decision! The plane build strays from the typical style, with space for a pilot and co-pilot. The back of the plane is widened out by one stud on each side to allow more potential cargo to be carried, including the snowmobile and saber-tooth tiger included in the set. It is a good build, I only wished the engines looked a bit better. The other major build in the set is a huge ice saw. The canopy is able to rotate 360 degrees, which is a nice detail. The treads are able to rotate without a cheater wheel. The saw both articulates and works well. The ice build included is good, more than the bare minimum needed. Even the little snowmobile is good. As a whole this set is incredible. As value goes, this set has 69 pieces less than the largest set but costs 40 dollars less. Granted a lot of pieces here are small treads, but the overall volume of stuff in this set poses a much greater value than the large set and wins my stamp of approval."
"I have to say that this year this advent calendar is my favorite of the three. But even this one is not perfect. The minifigure count has dropped yet again to a mere 5 figures. None of them reference any of this year's themes, which is disappointing. The whole figure lot is bland, unoriginal, and the santa figure for some reason no longer uses that nice and rare face print from last year. In that respect, the calendar is disappointing. However the mini builds are actually really nice this year. I like the references to sets from this year, as well as the little scene additions like the holiday clock. The spaceship and passenger train are fun. These builds redeem most of the calendar (again, most), but the minifigures here really take away from the set, because they are so vital to the calendar. It is a fine set but I really think this year's calendars overall have been very sub-par."
"Another good accessory set. Good value, once again, with quite a few useful and rare pieces. I am particularly fond of the umbrella piece, which until now was exclusive to a promotional "Lester" polybag. The red bikes are pretty standard fare, would have liked to see one of the two in light blue, which is the other common bike color nowadays. However these accessories are great, a must for any city/town scene. The skateboard is a nice throw in as well. I cannot be too picky because this is such an inexpensive set, so I think it is a very good value."
"This is an amazing value as a Lego promotion. The frame is nice quality and the minifigure included is spectacularly detailed. It is great to get the rubber duck float piece with a basic print, as well as an exclusive shirt print. Very nice frame, you can properly display any group of 16 minifigures that you choose, or something else if you choose. Very nice promotion and I hope to see more cool stuff like this in the future."
"This set is good. It represents Hermione's character well. The prints used are good. The hair is styled well enough using good pieces There is really only one problem for me, and that is the way that this set is marketed. The way that these "Harry Potter" Brickheadz are distributed as sets bothers me a bit. Harry and Hedwig is fine, but this set throws it off. It would have been better to get Hermione packaged with Ron, as they are characters that go together well. Dumbledore should have been his own separate set. As a very successful set in general with amazing prints, Dumbledore would sell very well. Then the Hermione-Ron hybrid would make obtaining the original trio more practical. Don't get me wrong, the set is fine, but as a whole marketing scheme Dumbledore would act better as the one-off Brickhead while Hermione would go much better with Ron. Of course these are just my thoughts, it is a good set."
"I found all of these xtra sets at my local Lego store. Out of all of them, this is honestly the best value in my opinion. Why, you might ask? The street lamps. Until recently these street lamps were only available in this color in select winter village sets, where only one was included per set. Now you get not one but two full street lamps in one cheap accessory pack! It's awesome! These look great on custom train stations, apartments, you name it. Very nice for any custom builder."
"YES!!! More simpsons merchandise! The second I saw these at my local store I knew I had to have them. Down to the builds themselves, starting with Homer. Homer uses the control/antenna pieces to represent a combover. The belly uses rounded pieces to make him look fatter. Bonus, the stomach is built on a tile to allow a drawer to slide out so you can put donut pieces in! The colors are basic, and I almost wish that his shirt collar was printed, but I cannot ask too much. Nice prints on the sides of the head with the M style hair. Krusty is more basic, but the standout is the hair build. Aqua pieces are built using an interesting technique to achieve a clown-like look. I wish they also used rounded pieces to make Krusty look fatter as well, since he appears the same size as Homer in the show, but I understand the desired contrast between the two. Regardless a great Brickheadz set."
"I must start off by saying that this is a very simple build. There are no unusual techniques used for construction. However regardless this is an amazing lego set for what it is. Just look at it! It's a brickhead TURKEY! i appreciate the inclusion of the pieces representing tail feathers, even if they are attached in the most basic way possible. The colors mix well, with the grey head and the different browns and tans used. The little scene is a bonus too. There is not much to it, and play is limited (it is more of a display piece), but the result is a very cheerful holiday brickhead. I would definitely recommend this product."
