"First thing to say is this set has a bad rep in the reviews because of the UCS tag. This quite clearly isn't a big build UCS set with a stand and information card with it.
I would only recommend buying this if you have a few other Hoth sets to go with it. I have the most recent AT-AT, Snowspeeder and the £20 Hoth defence set. Throw in the Imperial and Rebel battlepacks (based on SW Battlefront) in the mix and boom. Diorama-rama. In fact if I add Darth Vader, the Emperor, Boba Fett and Leia, I've got a battle scene from SW Battlefront.
The set offers all the bits from the movie. Yes you have to gloss over the fact the shield generator is one ridge too short, but other elements more than make up for it. Two areas stand out for me. Firstly the Wampa cave and Wampa is a scaled down version of the old Wampa cave set from 2009. Secondly, the control centre is a really tidy part of the base.
Lets talk price. I redeemed my VIP points against this purchase so saved a little bit (a clue, less than £6 more than £4). I would recommend doing the same if you are thinking of purchasing this.
Overall then, a fine set, presents a good challenge to build if not over taxing and is a perfect build for a rainy afternoon."

Sits Nicely on Display
"Despite not being a major feature in TFA, the Snowspeeder is a decent set. I picked one up reduced in Tesco at what I felt was a fitting price for it. It sits nicely on a small shelf on display in my room."
